The Baltic Sea Action Group(BSAG) is an independent foundation established in 2008, bringing together all the players needed to save the Baltic Sea. .
They adopted a number of decisions related to the development of the Baltic Sea action plan, expected to be adopted at a ministerial meeting scheduled to take place on 15 November 2007 in Warsaw.
In March 2006, a stakeholder conference was held to facilitate the involvement of the public andother sectors in the development of the HELCOM Baltic Sea Action Plan.
The project is financed by the Baltic Sea Action Plan Fund managed by NEFCO as well as the John Nurminen Foundation and the Udarnik poultry farm itself.

They include, inter alia,the Environmental Programme for the Danube, the Baltic Sea Joint Comprehensive Environmental Action Programme and the Environmental Programme for the Black Sea. .
