This would contribute to the resolution of the security threat posed by negative forces/armed groups that are taking advantage of the existing vacuum to destabilize the Democratic Republic of the Congo and to contaminate relations between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its neighbours.
Through the good offices of my Special Envoy and my Special Representative for the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as other initiatives, including the Oyo process led by President Sassou-Nguesso,the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its neighbours have maintained channels of communication and dialogue.
