The proposed expanded programme of work consists of the following main elements.
In 2002 the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, at its sixth meeting, adopted the expanded programme of work on forest biological diversity.
Accordingly, an expanded programme of work and corresponding outputs, as described below, is proposed.
It contains a series of questions based on 27 objectives identified in the expanded programme of work annexed to Decision VI/22, which are addressed to the Parties.
