The General Assembly considered the item at its fiftieth session resolution 50/141.
Paragraph 31.13 At the end of the paragraph, add"; E/1993/36-E/ESCAP/927, paras. 164, 165, 167, 273-277 and 279; and the Delhi Declaration on Strengthening Regional Economic Cooperation in Asia and the Pacific towards the Twenty-first Century,adopted by the Commission at its fiftieth session resolution 50/1.
The Working Party took note of the publication of SC.3 resolutions related to river information services adopted at its fiftieth session Resolution No. 48 with Recommendation on Electronic Chart Display and Information System for Inland Navigation(Inland ECDIS); Resolution No. 60 on International standards for notices to skippers and for electronic ship reporting in inland navigation and Resolution No. 63 on International Standards for Tracking and Tracing in Inland Waterways.
This request was reiterated by the General Assembly at its fiftieth session resolution 50/203.

In the tenth resolution under this item, entitled“Relationship between disarmament and development”, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to continue to take action, through appropriate organs and within available resources, for the implementation of the action programme adopted at the International Conference on the Relationship between Disarmament and Development andto submit a report to the Assembly at its fiftieth session resolution 49/75 J.
In the second resolution under this item, entitled“Review of the Declaration of the 1990s as the Third Disarmament Decade”, the General Assembly decided to undertake, at its fiftieth session, the middle of the Decade, a review and appraisal of the implementation of the Declaration of the 1990s as the Third Disarmament Decade; and requested the Disarmament Commission, at its 1995 session, to make a preliminary assessment of the implementation of the Declaration andreport to the Assembly at its fiftieth session resolution 49/75 B.
At its forty-fifth session, the General Assembly requested the International Civil Service Commission, in full cooperation with the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Board, to undertake in 1995 a further comprehensive review of the methodology for the determination of the scale of pensionable remuneration of staff in the Professional and higher categories, for monitoring the level of the scale and for its adjustment between comprehensive reviews, andto submit recommendations thereon to the Assembly at its fiftieth session resolution 45/242, sect. I.
