Since the Secretary-General considers the relocation of the Board to be part of his proposed global field support strategy, the Committee considers that this matter, including any related staffing proposals(see para. 44) be discussed in that context.
His delegation supported the general aims of the proposed global field support strategy but had a number of concerns regarding the efficiency and cost of the proposed measures, and looked forward to discussing the new strategy in detail.
As noted in paragraph 25 above,since the Secretary-General considers the relocation of the Field Central Review Board to be part of his proposed global field support strategy, the Advisory Committee recommends that any related staffing proposals be discussed in that context.
They fully supported the overall thrust of the proposed global field support strategy, which was to improve the speed, quality and safety of field support while reducing costs, but they had questions about how the Secretariat intended to achieve those aims.

During the discussions on cross-cutting issues, including the proposed global field support strategy, the Union would strive for effective and efficient peacekeeping as well as improvements in how the United Nations discharged its mandates in the areas of peace and security.
