In that spirit, Viet Nam will vote in favour of draft resolution A/64/L.4, submitted by Cuba.
Viet Nam will continue to work with all other international partners in pursuit of further progress in the field of disarmament.
Consistent with its principled position, Viet Nam will vote in favour of the draft resolution(A/60/L.9) submitted by Cuba under this agenda item.
Viet Nam will receive additional special procedures on the right to education and the right to food as committed.
To conclude, let me assure the Assembly that Viet Nam will continue to work closely with other countries in the international community to strive for our common goals, among them a stronger United Nations.

Before concluding, I wish to assure the General Assembly that Viet Nam will continue to make every effort, together with countries and peoples of the world, to foster understanding and cooperation in the name of peace and development for all.
Viet Nam will work closely with other countries to reduce tension and to prevent and peacefully settle conflicts in different parts of the world.
To do this and promote peace,cooperation and development, Viet Nam will continue to pursue its foreign policy in support of independence, sovereignty, openness, multilateralism, diversification of foreign relations, and gradual global and regional integration.
Viet Nam will continue legal and administrative reforms in order to prevent and combat bureaucratic practices, corruption and extravagance as well as promoting democracy and the rule of law.
Costa Rica and Viet Nam will continue to serve as ViceChairs for the said period.
In the future, Viet Nam will continue to work actively for world peace, stability, cooperation and development, thus contributing to efforts of the United Nations and the international community in accelerating the resolution of social issues and global challenges, as well as the implementation of development programmes and the Delivering as One initiative.
In line with this policy, Viet Nam will continue to stand as an active Member of the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.
Viet Nam will continue its consistent policy of settling disputes through negotiation in the spirit of equality, mutual respect and understanding, with due respect to international law, particularly the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, and to the sovereign rights and jurisdiction of coastal States over their respective continental shelves and exclusive economic zones.
