Then Esther the queen answered,"If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition,!

Чтобы они твердо наблюдали эти дни Пурим в свое время, какое уставил о них Мардохей Иудеянин и царица Есфирь, и как они сами назначали их для себя и для детей своих в дни пощения и воплей.
To confirm these days of Purim in their times appointed, according as Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen had enjoined them, and as they had decreed for themselves and for their seed, the matters of the fastings and their cry.

И сказал Аман: да и царица Есфирь никого не позвала с царем на пир, который она приготовила, кроме меня; так и на завтра я зван к ней с царем.
Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to-morrow also am I invited by her together with the king.

Чтобы они твердо наблюдали эти дни Пурим в свое время, какое уставил о них Мардохей Иудеянин и царица Есфирь, и как они сами назначали их для себя и для детей своих в дни пощения и воплей.
To confirm these days of Purim in their appointed times, according as Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen had enjoined them, and as they had ordained for themselves and for their seed, in the matter of the fastings and their cry.

И отвечала царица Есфирь и сказала: если я нашла благоволение в очах твоих, царь, и если царю благоугодно, то да будут дарованы мне жизнь моя, по желанию моему, и народ мой, по просьбе моей!
Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favor in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:!

И сказал царь Есфири также и в этот второй день во время пира: какое желание твое, царица Есфирь? оно будет удовлетворено; и какая просьба твоя? хотя бы до полуцарства, она будет исполнена.
The king said again to Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine,“What is your petition, queen Esther? It shall be granted you. What is your request? Even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.”.

И сказал Аман: да и царица царица Есфирь никого не позвала с царем на пир пир, который она приготовила, кроме меня; так и на завтра я зван к ней с царем.
Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come come in with the king unto the banquet banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to morrow am I invited unto her also with the king.

И сказалъ ей царь: что у тебя, царица Есѳирь? какая твоя просьба?
Then the king said, What is your desire, Queen Esther, and what is your request?

И царица Есѳирь, дочь Авихаила, и Мардохей Іудеянинъ писали со всею настойчивостію, чтобъ вторично подтвердить сіе письмо о Пуримѣ.
And Esther the queen, daughter of Abihail, writeth, and Mordecai the Jew, with all might, to establish this second letter of Purim.

Тогда, как царь увидел царицу Есфирь, стоящую на дворе, она нашла милость в очах его.
And when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, she obtained favor in his sight;

Тогда, какъ царь увидѣлъ царицу Есѳирь, стоящую на дворѣ, она нашла милость въ очахъ его, и простеръ царь къ Есѳири золотой скипетръ, который былъ въ рукѣ его.
And when the king saw Esther the queen waiting in the inner room, looking kindly on her he put out the rod of gold in his hand to her.

Узнав о том, Мардохей сообщил царице Есфири, а Есфирь сказала царю от имени Мардохея.
This thing became known to Mordecai, who informed Esther the queen; and Esther informed the king in Mordecai's name.

И царица Есѳирь, дочь Авихаила, и Мардохей Іудеянинъ писали со всею настойчивостію, чтобъ вторично подтвердить сіе письмо о Пуримѣ.
Then Esther the queen, daughter of Abihail, and Mordecai the Jew, sent a second letter giving the force of their authority to the order about the Purim.

И отвечал царь Артаксеркс и сказал царице Есфири: кто это такой, и гдетот, который отважился в сердце своем сделать так?
Then spake the king Ahasuerus and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?

Царь сказал царице Есфири:" Евреи убили в Сузах пятьсот человек, и в том числе десятерых сыновей Амана.
The king said to Esther the queen,"The Jews have slain and destroyed five hundred men in the citadel of Susa, including the ten sons of Haman;

Тогда, какъ царь увидѣлъ царицу Есѳирь, стоящую на дворѣ, она нашла милость въ очахъ его, и простеръ царь къ Есѳири золотой скипетръ, который былъ въ рукѣ его.
And it was so, when the king saw the queen Esther standing in the court, that she obtained grace in his sight; and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand;

И отвѣчала царица Есѳирь, и сказала: если я нашла благоволеніе въ очахъ твоихъ, царь, и если благоугодно царю, то по моему желанію да будетъ дарована мнѣ жизнь моя, и по моей просьбѣ народъ мой.
Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request.

Чтобъ они твердо наблюдали сіи дни Пуримъ въ опредѣленное ихъ время, какое поставилъ для нихъ Мардохей Іудеянинъ и царица Есѳирь, и какъ они сами установили для себя и для дѣтей своихъ, касательно пощеній и воплей во время ихъ.
Giving the force of law to these days of Purim at their fixed times, as they had been ordered by Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen, and in keeping with the rules they had made for themselves and their seed, in connection with their time of going without food and their cry for help.

И царь встал во гневе своем с пира и пошел в сад при дворце; Аман же остался умолять о жизни своей царицу Есфирь, ибо видел, что определена ему злая участь от царя.
And the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine[and went] into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.

И въ этотъ второй день сказалъ царь Есѳири при питіи вина: какое твое желаніе, царица Есѳирь?
And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther?

И пошли царь с Аманом на пир к царице Есфири.
So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen.
