The Depositary Government.
Article 33 Duties of the Depositary Government.
The Depositary Government shall inform the Contracting Parties and the signatories to the Convention.
Ratification, acceptance or approval of the amendment shall be notified to the depositary government in writing.
The Depositary Government shall register this Convention with the Secretariat of the United Nations.
And such withdrawal shall take effect two years after the receipt of the notice by the depositary Government.
The Depositary Government shall without delay notify all Contracting Parties of any such notification received.
The adopted amendment shall be submitted by the depositary government to the Contracting Parties for ratification, acceptance or approval.
Such modification or amendment shall thereafter enter into force as to any other Contracting Party when notice of ratification by it has been received by the depositary Government.
This Treaty shall be registered by the Depositary Governments pursuant to Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations.
Any such amendment shall enter into force after unanimous approval of all the Contracting Parties on the 30th day after the receipt of the last notification by the Depositary Government.
Adherences received by the Depositary Government prior to the date of entry into force of this Convention shall become effective on the date this Convention enters into force.
Instruments of ratification or instruments of approval shall be deposited with the Government of the Polish People's Republic which shall perform the functions of the Depositary Government.
Any such modification or amendment shall enter into force when the depositary Government has received notice from all such Contracting Parties that they have ratified it.
Instruments of ratification and instruments of accession shall be deposited with the Government of the United States of America,hereby designated as the depositary Government.
The first session of the Commission shall be called by the Depositary Government of this Convention and shall take place within a period of ninety days from the date following the entry into force of this Convention.
During the period of 90 days provided for by sub-paragraph(c) of paragraph 1 or sub-paragraph(l)of paragraph 2 of this Article any Party may by notification in writing to the Depositary Government make a reservation with respect to the amendment.
The first meeting of the Commission shall be called by the Depositary Government and shall take place within a period of ninety days from the date following the entry into force of the present Convention.
At any time after the expiry of two years from the date of entry into force of the Convention for a Contracting Party,that Contracting Party may withdraw from the Convention by notification in writing to the Depositary Government.
A notification under paragraph 3 of this Article to the Depositary Government may indicate that a Contracting Party is unable to accept the amendment insofar as it relates to one or more of its dependent or autonomous territories to which the Convention applies.
The amendment shall enter into force for those Contracting Parties which have ratified, accepted orapproved it on the 30th day after receipt by the Depositary Government of notification of its ratification, acceptance or approval by at least seven Contracting Parties.
A notification under paragraph 3 of this Article to the Depositary Government may indicate that a Contracting Party is unable to accept the amendment insofar as it relates to one or more of its dependent or autonomous territories to which the Convention applies.
The amendment shall enter into force for those Contracting Parties which have ratified, accepted orapproved it on the thirtieth day after receipt by the Depositary Government of notification of its ratification, acceptance or approval by at least seven Contracting Parties.
Any such proposed amendments shall be submitted to the Depositary Government and communicated by it to all Contracting Parties which shall inform the Depositary Government of either their acceptance or rejection of the amendment as soon as possible after the receipt of the communication.
Any other Contracting Government may thereupon withdraw from this Convention on the same December thirty-first by giving notice to the Depositary Government within one month of the receipt of a copy of a notice of withdrawal given pursuant to paragraph 1 of this Article.
Except as may be otherwise provided in an Annex other than Annexes I to IV to the Convention,any Contracting Party may at any time after the expiry of two years from the date of entry into force of such Annex for that Contracting Party withdraw from such Annex by notification in writing to the Depositary Government.
An amendment to an Appendix shall become binding on any other Contracting Party bound by the Appendix which has notified the Depositary Government in writing that it is able to accept the amendment from the moment of that notification or after the expiry of a period of 200 days after the adoption of the amendment, whichever is later.
After entry into force of this Convention in accordance with paragraph 1 of this Article, the Convention shall enter into force for any other State, the Government of which has deposited an instrument of ratification, approval or accession,on the thirtieth day following the date of deposit of such instrument with the Depositary Government.
At any tine after the communication of such list, any Party may by notification in writing to the Depositary Government enter a reservation with respect to any species or any parts or derivatives, and until such reservation is withdrawn, the State shall be treated as a State not a Party to the present Convention with respect to trade in the species or part or derivative concerned.
If any such modification or amendment has not entered into force in accordance with the provisions of subparagraph 1(a) of this Article within a period of two years after the date of its communication to all the Contracting Parties,any Contracting Party may at any time after the expiration of that period give notice to the depositary Government of its withdrawal from the present Treaty;
