The Commission shall carry out an evaluation of this Directive by….
No later than fiveour years after the publication of the report referred to in Article 28, the Commission shall carry out an evaluation of this Regulation, and report on its conclusions.
By 9 June 2026, the Commission shall carry out an evaluation of the impact of this Directive and submit a report to the European Parliament and to the Council.
Within four years after the first approval of a specific system of product-related pre-export control referred to in Article 35(3),the Commission shall carry out an evaluation of its effects and cost efficiency.

No sooner than[three years from the date of application of this Regulation],the Commission shall carry out an evaluation of this Regulation and submit a report to the European Parliament and to the Council on the application of this Regulation including the functioning of the effectiveness of the safeguard mechanisms.
Where the market surveillance authorities of one Member State have sufficient reason to believe that PPE covered by this Regulation presents a risk to the health orsafety of persons, they shall carry out an evaluation in relation to the PPE concerned covering all relevant requirements laid down in this Regulation.
No sooner than three years after the date of transposition of this Directive, the Commission shall carry out an evaluation of this Directive and present a report on the main findings to the European Parliament and the Council, including on the appropriateness of the level of security of personal data and the possible impact on fundamental rights.
Where the market surveillance authorities of one Member State have sufficient reason to believe that an explosive presents a risk to the health or safety of persons, orto property or the environment, they shall carry out an evaluation in relation to the explosive concerned covering all relevant requirements laid down in this Directive.
Six years after the date of application of this Regulation, and every subsequent six years,the Commission shall carry out an evaluation of this Regulation and present a report on the main findings to the European Parliament, to the Council and to the European Economic and Social Committee.
Where the market surveillance authorities of one Member State have taken action pursuant to Article 20 of Regulation(EC) No 765/2008, orwhere they have sufficient reason to believe that a product covered by this Directive is not in conformity with this Directive, they shall carry out an evaluation in relation to the product concerned covering all the relevant requirements laid down in this Directive.
On receipt of the request referred to in paragraphs 1 to 4 the approval authority that granted the EU type-approval shall carry out an evaluation in relation to the vehicles, systems, components or separate technical units concerned covering all the requirements laid down in this Regulation.
