The Member States audited14 did not have information to show if the projects to which they had given financial support were financially sustainable and effective,i.e. that they had achieved specific RDP objectives for the measure and added value to agricultural products.
However, the Court found that onlygeneral objectives were set, which did not demonstrate how the funding was intended to add value to agricultural products or improve the competitiveness of agriculture.
