None disbelieves Our verses except the harmdoers.
அநியாயக்காரர் களைத் தவிர நம்முடைய வசனங்களை மறுக்கமாட்டார்கள்.“.

And they used to deny Our verses!”.
அன்றியும் அவர்கள் நம் வசனங்களைப் பொய்யெனக் கூறி பொய்யாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

And denied Our verses with[emphatic] denial.
அன்றியும் அவர்கள் நம் வசனங்களைப் பொய்யெனக் கூறி பொய்யாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

And among these[people of Makkah] are those who believe in it. And none reject Our verses except the disbelievers.
மேலும், இதை நம்பி ஏற்றுக் கொள்வோரும் இவர்களில் இ இருக்கிறார்கள்- காஃபிர்களைத் தவிர( வேறு) எவரும் நம் வசனங்களை நிராகரிக்க மாட்டார்கள்.

We have made plain Our verses to a nation who know.
இவ்வாறு நாம் நம்முடைய வசனங்களை அறிவுடைய சமூகத்தாருக்குத் தெளிவாக விவரிக்கின்றோம்.

When Our verses are recited to him, he says,"Legends of the former peoples.".
நம் வசனங்கள் அவனிடம் ஓதப்பட்டால்," இவை முன்னோர்களின் கட்டுக்கதைகள்" என்று அவன் கூறுகின்றான்.

When he learns anything from our verses, he takes it in vain;
நம் வசனங்கள் இலிருந்து ஏத் ஆவது ஒன்றை அவன் அறிந்து கொண்டால், அதைப் பரிகாசமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறான்;

When Our Verses(of the Quran) are recited to him, he says:"Tales of the men of old!".
நம் வசனங்கள் அவனிடம் ஓதப்பட்டால்," இவை முன்னோர்களின் கட்டுக்கதைகள்" என்று அவன் கூறுகின்றான்.

But those who disbelieve and belie Our verses shall be the companions of Hell.
ஆனால், எவர் நிராகரித்து, நம் வசனங்களைப் பொய்ப்பிக்கின்றார்களோ,அ( த்தகைய) வர்கள் நரகவாசிகளேயாவர்கள்.

When Our verses are recited to him, says:“Mere tales of olden times!”.
நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் அவனுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால்," அவை முன்னோர்களின் கட்டுக் கதைகளே" என்று கூறுகின்றான்.

Evil is the example of those who belied Our verses; they wronged themselves.
நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப் பொய்யெனக் கூறிய மக்களின் உதாரணம் மிகவும் கெட்டதாகும்; அவர்கள் தமக்குத் தாமே தீங்கிழைத்துக் கொண்டார்கள்.

When Our verses are recited to him, he says:'They are but fairytales of the ancients'.
நம் வசனங்கள் அவனிடம் ஓதப்பட்டால்," இவை முன்னோர்களின் கட்டுக்கதைகள்" என்று அவன் கூறுகின்றான்.

We saved him and all who were with him through Our Mercy and annihilated those who belied Our verses. They were not believers!
ஆகவே, நாம் அவரையும் அவருடன் இருந்தவர்களைய் உம், நம்முடைய அருளைக்கொண்டு காப்பற்றினோம்; நம் வசனங்களைப் பொய்யெனக்கூறி, நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளாமல் இருந்தவர்களை நாம் வேரறுத்து விட்டோம்!

And whenever Our verses are rehearsed to him, he says:“These are fairy- tales of times gone by.”.
நம் வசனங்கள் அவனிடம் ஓதப்பட்டால்," இவை முன்னோர்களின் கட்டுக்கதைகள்" என்று அவன் கூறுகின்றான்.

And never does your Lord destroy towns until He sends a Noble Messenger to their principal town, reciting Our verses to them; and We never destroy towns unless its people are unjust.
உம்முடைய இறைவன் எந்த ஊர்களைய் உம் அவற்றின் தலைநகருக்கு ஒரு தூதரை அனுப்பி, அவர்களுக்கு நம்முடைய வசனங்களை அவர் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கும் வரை- அழிப்பவனாக இல்லை.'.

When Our Verses(of the Quran) are recited to him he says:"Tales of the ancients!".
நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் அவனுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால்," அவை முன்னோர்களின் கட்டுக் கதைகளே" என்று கூறுகின்றான்.

Those who dispute Our verses may know that they have no asylum.
நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப் பற்றித் தர்க்கம் செய்து கொண்டிருப்போர்- அவர்களுக்கு( தப்பித்துக் கொள்ள) புகலிடம் ஏதுமில்லை என்பதை அறிவார்கள்.

And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who do not expect the meeting with Us say,"Bring us a Qur'an other than this or change it.
அவர்கள் மீது தெளிவான நம் வசனங்கள் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால், நம்முடைய சந்திப்பை நம்பாதவர்கள்," இது அல்லாத வேறு ஒரு குர்ஆனை நீர் கொண்டு வாரும்;

Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says:'I shall surely be given wealth and children'?
நம்முடைய வசனங்களை நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டு,( மறுமையில் உம்) நான் நிச்சயமாக, செல்வம் உம், பிள்ளைய் உம் கொடுக்கப்படுவேன்" என்று கூறினானே அவனை( நபியே!) நீர் பார்த்தீரா?

And when Our verses are recited to them, their only argument is:'Bring our fathers back to us, if what you say is true'.
அவர்களிடம் தெளிவான நம் வசனங்கள் ஓதிக்காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால், அவர்களுடைய வாதமெல்ல் ஆம்," நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்கள் ஆக இ இருந்தால் எங்களுடைய மூதாதையரை( எழுப்பிக்) கொண்டு வாருங்கள்" என்பது தவிர வேறில்லை.

But those who disbelieved and belied Our verses and the meeting of the Everlasting Life, shall be arraigned for punishment.
இன்னும், எவர்கள் காஃபிராகி, நம்முடைய வசனங்களை, மறுமையின் சந்திபபையும் பொய்ப்பித்தார்களோஅ( த்தகைய) வர்கள், வேதனைக்காகக் கொண்டு வரப்படுவார்கள்.

As for those who belie Our verses, We will draw them on little by little, from where they cannot tell;
எவர் நம் வசனங்களைப் பொய்யெனக் கூறுகிறார்களோ அவர்களைப் படிப்படியாக அவர்கள் அறியா வண்ணம் பிடிப்போம்.

But those who strive against Our verses[seeking] to cause failure- for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature.
மேலும், எவர்கள் நம் வசனங்களை( எதிர்த்துத்) தோற்கடிக்க முயல்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் கடினமான வேதனையுண்டு.

But those who labor against Our verses(thinking they are) frustrating(Our Messengers), theirs shall be the painful punishment of anger'.
எவர்கள் நம் வசனங்களை( எதிர்த்துத்) தோற்கடிக்க முயல்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் கடினமான வேதனையுண்டு.

He(Allah) will say:'It is so, Our verses came to you and you forgot them. So this Day you are forgotten'.
( அதற்கு இறைவன்,)" இவ்விதம்தான் இருக்கும்; நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன அவற்றை நீ மறந்துவிட்டாய்; அவ்வாறே இன்றைய தினம் நீயும் மறக்கப்பட்டு விட்டாய்" என்று கூறுவான்.

But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment[to remain].
இன்னும், எவர்கள் காஃபிராகி, நம்முடைய வசனங்களை, மறுமையின் சந்திபபையும் பொய்ப்பித்தார்களோஅ( த்தகைய) வர்கள், வேதனைக்காகக் கொண்டு வரப்படுவார்கள்.

But the ones who disbelieved and denied Our verses- those are the companions of the Fire, abiding eternally therein; and wretched is the destination.
அன்றியும், எவர்கள் நிராகரித்து, நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப் பொய்யாக்குகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் நரகவாசிகளே, அதில் அவர்கள் என்றென்ற் உம் தங்கியிருப்பார்கள்; அது மிகவும் கெட்ட சேருமிடமாகும்.

And do not follow the desires of those who deny Our verses and those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while they equate[others] with their Lord!
நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப் பொய்யென வாதிடுபவர்கள், மற்றும் மறுமையை மறுப்பவர்கள், மேலும், தங்களின் இறைவனோடு மற்றவர்களைச் சமம் ஆக்குகின்றவர்கள் ஆகியோரின் விருப்பங்களை நீர் பின் தொடராதீர்!

As for those who disbelieved and belied Our verses, they shall be the inhabitants of the Fire and shall live therein for ever. Evil shall be their arrival.
அன்றியும், எவர்கள் நிராகரித்து, நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப் பொய்யாக்குகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் நரகவாசிகளே, அதில் அவர்கள் என்றென்ற் உம் தங்கியிருப்பார்கள்; அது மிகவும் கெட்ட சேருமிடமாகும்.
