അവരൊക്കെയും തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ ദൂതനെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു. അപ്പോള് അവന് അവരെ കഠിന ശിക്ഷയാല് പിടികൂടുകയായിരുന്നു.Look, therefor, at the prints of Allah' s mercy( in creation): how He quickeneth the earth after her death?
അപ്പോള് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കാരുണ്യത്തിന്റെ ഫലങ്ങള് നോക്കൂ, ഭൂമി നിര്ജീവമായിരുന്നതിനു ശേഷം എങ്ങനെയാണ് അവന് അതിന് ജീവന് നല്കുന്നത്?And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, therefor did He grip them with a tightening grip.
അവര് അവരുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ ദൂതനെ ധിക്കരിക്കുകയും, അപ്പോള് അവന് അവരെ ശക്തിയേറിയ ഒരു പിടുത്തം പിടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.And they denied him; therefor We destroyed them. Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers.
അങ്ങനെ അവരദ്ദേഹത്തെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു. അതിനാല് നാമവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അതിലൊരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട്. എന്നിട്ടും അവരിലേറെപ്പേരും വിശ്വാസികളായില്ല.Mohamed Asad Replied he:"This she-camel shall have a share of water, and you shall have a share of water,on the days appointed[therefor].
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: ഇതാ ഒരു ഒട്ടകം അതിന്ന് വെള്ളം കുടിക്കാന് ഒരു ഊഴമുണ്ട് നിങ്ങള്ക്കും ഒരു ഊഴമുണ്ട്;ഒരു നിശ്ചിത ദിവസത്തില്( 155).Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from(the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish.
ആകയാല് അതില്( അന്ത്യസമയത്തില്) വിശ്വസിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും തന്നിഷ്ടത്തെ പിന്പറ്റുകയും ചെയ്തവര് അതില്( വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതില്) നിന്ന് നിന്നെ തടയാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം നീയും നാശമടയുന്നതാണ്.And the dwellers inthe wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect.
ഐക്ക നിവാസികളും തുബ്ബഇന്റെജനതയും അതു തന്നെ ചെയ്തു. അവരൊക്കെ ദൈവദൂതന്മാരെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് അവരില് യാഥാര്ഥ്യമായി പുലര്ന്നു.There was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy;
എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരിലൊരു വിഭാഗം ഇവ്വിധം പറയാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു:" ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥാ; ഞങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു നീ പൊറുത്തുതരേണമേ. ഞങ്ങളോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കേണമേ. നീ കരുണ കാണിക്കുന്നവരില് അത്യുത്തമനാണല്ലോ.”.And delivered him from the people who denied Our revelations. Lo!they were folk of evil, therefor did We drown them all.
നമ്മുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞ ജനത്തിനെതിരെ നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തെതുണച്ചു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവര് പറ്റെ ദുഷിച്ച ജനതയായിരുന്നു. അതിനാല് അവരെ ഒന്നടങ്കം നാം മുക്കിയൊടുക്കി.Therefor we said: O Adam! This is an enemy unto thee and unto thy wife, so let him not drive you both out of the Garden so that thou come to toil.
അപ്പോള് നാം പറഞ്ഞു: ആദമേ, തീര്ച്ചയായും ഇവന് നിന്റെയും നിന്റെ ഇണയുടെയും ശത്രുവാകുന്നു. അതിനാല് നിങ്ങളെ രണ്ട് പേരെയും അവന് സ്വര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന് പുറം തള്ളാതിരിക്കട്ടെ( അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം) നീ കഷ്ടപ്പെടും.Say(O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied(the Truth), therefor there will be judgment.
പറയുക: നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാര്ഥനയില്ലെങ്കില് എന്റെ നാഥന് നിങ്ങളെ ഒട്ടും പരിഗണിക്കുകയില്ല. നിങ്ങള് അവനെ നിഷേധിച്ചുതള്ളിയിരിക്കയാണല്ലോ. അതിനാല് അതിനുള്ള ശിക്ഷ അടുത്തുതന്നെ അനിവാര്യമായും ഉണ്ടാകും.Therefor we said: O Adam! This is an enemy unto thee and unto thy wife, so let him not drive you both out of the Garden so that thou come to toil.
അപ്പോള് നാം പറഞ്ഞു:" ആദമേ, തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് നിന്റെയും നിന്റെ ഇണയുടെയും ശത്രുവാണ്. അതിനാല് അവന് നിങ്ങളിരുവരെയും സ്വര്ഗത്തില്നിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കാന് ഇടവരാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചാല് നീ ഏറെ നിര്ഭാഗ്യവാനായിത്തീരും.They have an awning of fire above them and beneaththem a dais(of fire). With this doth Allah appal His bondmen. O My bondmen, therefor fear Me!
അവര്ക്ക് അവരുടെ മുകള് ഭാഗത്ത് തിയ്യിന്റെ തട്ടുകളുണ്ട്. അവരുടെ കീഴ്ഭാഗത്തുമുണ്ട്തട്ടുകള്. അതിനെ പറ്റിയാകുന്നു അല്ലാഹു തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്. ആകയാല് എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുവിന്!Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord!We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy;
തീര്ച്ചയായും എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരില് ഒരു വിഭാഗം ഇപ്രകാരം പറയാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ,ഞങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല് ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് നീ പൊറുത്തുതരികയും, ഞങ്ങളോട് കരുണ കാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ. നീ കാരുണികരില് ഉത്തമനാണല്ലോ.Therefor(O Muhammad), bear with what they say, and celebrate the praise of thy Lord ere the rising of the sun and ere the going down thereof. And glorify Him some hours of the night and at the two ends of the day, that thou mayst find acceptance.
അതിനാല് ഇവര് പറയുന്നതൊക്കെ ക്ഷമിക്കുക. സൂര്യോദയത്തിനും അസ്തമയത്തിനും മുമ്പ് നിന്റെ നാഥനെ കീര്ത്തിച്ച് അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധി വാഴ്ത്തുക. രാവിന്റെ ചില യാമങ്ങളിലും പകലിന്റെ രണ്ടറ്റങ്ങളിലും അവന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധിയെ പ്രകീര്ത്തിക്കുക. നിനക്കു സംതൃപ്തി ലഭിച്ചേക്കാം.Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Therefor, worship thou Him and be thou steadfast in His service. Knowest thou one that can be named along with Him?
ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും അവയ്ക്കിടയിലുള്ളതിന്റെയും രക്ഷിതാവത്രെ അവന്. അതിനാല് അവനെ താങ്കള് ആരാധിക്കുകയും അവന്നുള്ള ആരാധനയില് ക്ഷമയോടെ ഉറച്ചുനില്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. അവന്ന് പേരൊത്ത ആരെയെങ്കിലും താങ്കള്ക്കറിയാമോ?Those are they who disbelieve in the revelations of their Lord and in the meeting with Him. Therefor their works are vain, and on the Day of Resurrection We assign no weight to them.
തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെയും അവനുമായി കണ്ടുമുട്ടുമെന്നതിനെയും കള്ളമാക്കി തള്ളിയവരാണവര്. അതിനാല് അവരുടെ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങള് പാഴായിരിക്കുന്നു. ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പുനാളില് നാം അവയ്ക്ക് ഒട്ടും പരിഗണന കല്പിക്കുകയില്ല.And Mary, daughter of'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient.
ഇംറാന്റെ പുത്രി മര്യമിനെയും ഉദാഹരണമായിഎടുത്തു കാണിക്കുന്നു. അവര് തന്റെ ഗുഹ്യസ്ഥാനം കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിച്ചു. അപ്പോള് നാം അതില് നമ്മില് നിന്നുള്ള ആത്മാവിനെ ഊതി. അവളോ തന്റെ നാഥനില് നിന്നുള്ള വചനങ്ങളേയും വേദങ്ങളേയും സത്യപ്പെടുത്തി. അവള് ഭക്തരില് പെട്ടവളായിരുന്നു.Say(unto them O Muhammad): I am only a mortal like you. Itis inspired in me that your Allah is One Allah, therefor take the straight path unto Him and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe unto the idolaters.
നീ പറയുക: ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് മാത്രമാകുന്നു. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ഏകദൈവമാകുന്നു എന്ന്എനിക്ക് ബോധനം നല്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ആകയാല് അവങ്കലേക്കുള്ള മാര്ഗത്തില് നിങ്ങള് നേരെ നിലകൊള്ളുകയും അവനോട് നിങ്ങള് പാപമോചനം തേടുകയും ചെയ്യുവിന്. ബഹുദൈവാരാധകര്ക്കാകുന്നു നാശം.And Mary, daughter of'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. തന്റെ ഗുഹ്യസ്ഥാനം കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിച്ച ഇംറാന്റെ മകളായ മര്യമിനെയും(ഉപമയായി എടുത്ത് കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.) അപ്പോള് നമ്മുടെ ആത്മചൈതന്യത്തില് നിന്നു നാം അതില് ഊതുകയുണ്ടായി. തന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളിലും ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളിലും അവള് വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും അവള് ഭയഭക്തിയുള്ളവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാവുകയും ചെയ്തു.And with those who say:"Lo! we are Christians," We made a covenant,but they forgot a part of that whereof they were admonished. Therefor We have stirred up enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handiwork.
ഞങ്ങള് ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളാണ് എന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നവരില് നിന്നും നാം കരാര് വാങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്അവരും തങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിച്ച ഉദ്ബോധനങ്ങളില് വലിയൊരുഭാഗം മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞു. അതിനാല് അവര്ക്കിടയില് നാം ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പുനാള് വരെ പരസ്പര വൈരവും വെറുപ്പും വളര്ത്തി. അവര് ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റിയെല്ലാം അല്ലാഹു പിന്നീടവരെ അറിയിക്കുന്നതാണ്.O mankind! The messenger hath come unto you with the Truth from your Lord. Therefor believe;(it is) better for you. But if ye disbelieve, still, lo! unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Allah is ever Knower, Wise.
ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ നാഥങ്കല് നിന്നുള്ള സത്യസന്ദേശവുമായി ദൈവദൂതനിതാ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല് നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കുക. അതാണ് നിങ്ങള്ക്കുത്തമം. അഥവാ, നിങ്ങള് നിഷേധിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില് അറിയുക: ആകാശ ഭൂമികളിലുള്ളതെല്ലാം അല്ലാഹുവിന്റേതാണ്. അല്ലാഹു എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനാണ്. യുക്തിമാനും.O ye who believe! Lo!among your wives and your children there are enemies for you, therefor beware of them. And if ye efface and overlook and forgive, then lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
വിശ്വസിച്ചവരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരിലും മക്കളിലും നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ശത്രുക്കളുണ്ട്. അതിനാല് അവരെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് മാപ്പ് നല്കുകയും വിട്ടുവീഴ്ച കാണിക്കുകയും പൊറുത്തു കൊടുക്കുകയുമാണെങ്കില്, തീര്ച്ചയായും അറിയുക: അല്ലാഹു ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും ദയാപരനുമാണ്.O ye who believe! Lo!among your wives and your children there are enemies for you, therefor beware of them. And if ye efface and overlook and forgive, then lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, തീര്ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളിലും നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ശത്രുവുണ്ട്. അതിനാല് അവരെ നിങ്ങള് സൂക്ഷിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക. നിങ്ങള് മാപ്പുനല്കുകയും, വിട്ടുവീഴ്ച കാണിക്കുകയും പൊറുത്തുകൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമാകുന്നു.And with those who say:"Lo! we are Christians," We made a covenant,but they forgot a part of that whereof they were admonished.
