Advancing the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action: In the afternoon and evening,the contact group continued consideration of draft decision text on this item.
Take note of parties' submissions regarding a draft decision to take the work forward, and agree to forward them for consideration at SB 41, with a view to providing recommendations for consideration at COP 20.
Co-Chair Georg Børsting(Norway) closed the contact group,saying he would deliver the draft decision to the COP Presidency as the“final product” of the group and report on the unresolved issues.
During the SBI closing plenary on Friday, 5 December,the SBI adopted conclusions and forwarded a draft decision for consideration and adoption by COP 20.

Long-Term Climate Finance: During the contact group, Co-Chair Andres Mogro(Ecuador) announced that the co-chairs will inform the COP Presidency about the status of negotiations on this sub-item,including the latest version of the draft decision text reflecting parties' views and ideas.
Throughout the day, the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action(ADP) contact group on item 3 addressed elements, including transparency, finance,times frames and process related to commitments/contributions and the draft decision on advancing the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action.
On pre-2020 ambition, he thanked parties for their effortsto“build bridges,” highlighting that a new iteration of the draft decision on this issue was made available on Friday night.
