फिर जब इबराहीम(के दिल) से ख़ौफ जाता रहा और उनके पास(औलाद की) खुशख़बरी भी आ चुकी तो हम से क़ौमे लूत के बारे में झगड़ने लगे।
So when fear had gone away from Ibrahim and good news came to him, he began to plead with Us for Lut's people.

और ख़ुदा उनसे कहेगा ऐ मेरे बन्दों आज न तो तुमको कोई ख़ौफ है और न तुम ग़मग़ीन होगे।
O My slaves! For you there is no fear this day, nor is it ye who grieve;

फिर जब इबराहीम(के दिल) से ख़ौफ जाता रहा और उनके पास(औलाद की) खुशख़बरी भी आ चुकी तो हम से क़ौमे लूत के बारे में झगड़ने लगे।
Then when the fear had gone away from(the mind of) Ibrahim(Abraham), and the glad tidings had reached him, he began to plead with Us(Our Messengers) for the people of Lout Lot.

और ख़ुदा उनसे कहेगा ऐ मेरे बन्दों आज न तो तुमको कोई ख़ौफ है और न तुम ग़मग़ीन होगे।
To such will be said,“O My bondmen! This day there shall be no fear upon you, nor any grief.”.

और(लोगों) मुफलिसी(ग़रीबी) के ख़ौफ से अपनी औलाद को क़त्ल न करो(क्योंकि) उनको और तुम को(सबको) तो हम ही रोज़ी देते हैं बेशक औलाद का क़त्ल करना बहुत सख्त गुनाह है।
Do not abandon your children out of fear of poverty. We will provide for them and for you. Killing them is certainly a great wrong.

जो शख्स नेक काम करेगा उसके लिए उसकी जज़ा उससे कहीं बेहतर है ओर ये लोग उस दिन ख़ौफ व ख़तरे से महफूज़ रहेंगे।
Whoso bringeth a good deed will have better than its worth; and such are safe from fear that Day.

और जब आदम को ये हुक्म दिया था कि यहाँ से उतर पड़ो(तो भी कह दिया था कि) अगर तुम्हारे पास मेरी तरफ़ से हिदायत आए तो(उसकी पैरवी करना क्योंकि) जो लोग मेरी हिदायत पर चलेंगे उन पर(क़यामत) में न कोई ख़ौफ होगा।
We ordered them all to get out of the garden and told them that when Our guidance came to them, those who would follow it would have neither fear nor grief.

जो शख्स नेक काम करेगा उसके लिए उसकी जज़ा उससे कहीं बेहतर है ओर ये लोग उस दिन ख़ौफ व ख़तरे से महफूज़ रहेंगे।
Whoever brings good, he shall have better than it; and they shall be secure from terror on the day.

हाँ अलबत्ता जो शख्स वसीयत करने वाले से बेजा तरफ़दारी या बे इन्साफी का ख़ौफ रखता है और उन वारिसों में सुलह करा दे तो उस पर बदलने का कुछ गुनाह नहीं है बेशक ख़ुदा बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है।
One who is afraid of the testator's deviations and sin and settles the matter among the parties involved, he has not committed a sin. God is All-forgiving and All-merciful.

फिर जिसने ईमान कुबूल किया और अच्छे अच्छे काम किए तो ऐसे लोगों पर(क़यामत में) न कोई ख़ौफ होगा और न वह ग़मग़ीन होगें।
So whoever believes and acts righteously, then no fear will be on them, nor will they grieve.

रात के वक्त उनके पहलू बिस्तरों से आशना नहीं होते और(अज़ाब के) ख़ौफ और(रहमत की) उम्मीद पर अपने परवरदिगार की इबादत करते हैं और हमने जो कुछ उन्हें अता किया है उसमें से(ख़ुदा की) राह में ख़र्च करते हैं।
Their limbs do forsake their beds of sleep, the while they call on their Lord, in Fear and Hope: and they spend(in charity) out of the sustenance which We have bestowed on them.

जो शख्स नेक काम करेगा उसके लिए उसकी जज़ा उससे कहीं बेहतर है ओर ये लोग उस दिन ख़ौफ व ख़तरे से महफूज़ रहेंगे।
Whoever does a good deed, shall be rewarded with what is better, and will be secure from fear of that Day.

और हम तो रसूलों को सिर्फ इस ग़रज़ से भेजते हैं कि(नेको को जन्नत की) खुशख़बरी दें और(बदो को अज़ाब जहन्नुम से) डराएं फिर जिसने ईमान कुबूल किया और अच्छे अच्छे काम किए तो ऐसे लोगों पर(क़यामत में) न कोई ख़ौफ होगा और न वह ग़मग़ीन होगें।
We do not send the apostles except as bearers of good news and warners. As for those who are faithful and righteous, they will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

जो शख्स नेक काम करेगा उसके लिए उसकी जज़ा उससे कहीं बेहतर है ओर ये लोग उस दिन ख़ौफ व ख़तरे से महफूज़ रहेंगे।
Whosoever will bring good shall have better than the worth thereof; and they from the terror of that Day will be secure.

बेशक मुसलमानों और यहूदियों और नसरानियों और ला मज़हबों में से जो कोई खुदा और रोज़े आख़िरत पर ईमान लाए और अच्छे-अच्छे काम करता रहे तो उन्हीं के लिए उनका अज्र व सवाब उनके खुदा के पास है और न(क़यामत में) उन पर किसी का ख़ौफ होगा न वह रंजीदा दिल होंगे।
Jews, Nazarenes and Sabaeans whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good deeds shall be rewarded by their Lord; they have nothing to fear nor are they saddened.

तो हमने उनकी दुआ सुन ली और उन्हें यहया सा बेटा अता किया और हमने उनके लिए उनकी बीबी को अच्छी बता दिया इसमें शक नहीं कि ये सब नेक कामों में जल्दी करते थे और हमको बड़ी रग़बत और ख़ौफ के साथ पुकारा करते थे और हमारे आगे गिड़गिड़ाया करते थे।
So We responded to him and gave him Yahya and made his wife fit for him; surely they used to hasten, one with another In deeds of goodness and to call upon Us, hoping and fearing and they were humble before Us.

अलग़रज़ मूसा पर उनकी क़ौम की नस्ल के चन्द आदमियों के सिवा फिरऔन और उसके सरदारों के इस ख़ौफ से कि उन पर कोई मुसीबत डाल दे कोई ईमान न लाया और इसमें शक़ नहीं कि फिरऔनरुए ज़मीन में बहुत बढ़ा चढ़ा था और इसमें शक़ नहीं कि वह यक़ीनन ज्यादती करने वालों में से था।
Then none believed in Musa save a posterity of his people, through fear of Fir'awn and their chiefs, lest he should persecute them; and verily Fir'awn was lofty in the land, and verily he was of the extravagant.

He knows what was there before them and what came after them; and they did not intercede for any one but whom He willed, and they were filled with awe of Him.

But none believed in Moses except some children of his People, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, lest they should persecute them; and certainly Pharaoh was mighty on the earth and one who transgressed all bounds.

अलग़रज़ मूसा पर उनकी क़ौम की नस्ल के चन्द आदमियों के सिवा फिरऔन और उसके सरदारों के इस ख़ौफ से कि उन पर कोई मुसीबत डाल दे कोई ईमान न लाया और इसमें शक़ नहीं कि फिरऔनरुए ज़मीन में बहुत बढ़ा चढ़ा था और इसमें शक़ नहीं कि वह यक़ीनन ज्यादती करने वालों में से था।
But none believed in Musa except the offspring of his people, on account of the fear of Firon and their chiefs, lest he should persecute them; and most surely Firon was lofty in the land; and most surely he was of the extravagant.

जो कुछ उनके सामने है और जो कुछ उनके पीछे है(ग़रज़ सब कुछ) वह(खुदा) जानता है और ये लोग उस शख्स के सिवा जिससे खुदा राज़ी हो किसी की सिफारिश भी नहीं करते और ये लोग खुद उसके ख़ौफ से(हर वक्त) ड़रते रहते हैं।
He knows all that is in front of them and all that is behind them.(These servants of God) will not intercede with Him for anyone without His permission and they tremble in awe before His greatness.

और जब हमारे भेजे हुए फरिश्ते लूत के पास आए लूत उनके आने से ग़मग़ीन हुए और उन(की मेहमानी) से दिल तंग हुए(क्योंकि वह नौजवान खूबसूरत मर्दों की सरूत में आए थे) फरिश्तों ने कहा आप ख़ौफ न करें और कुढ़े नही हम आपको और आपके लड़के बालों को बचा लेगें मगर आपकी बीबी क्योंकि वह पीछे रह जाने वालो से होगी।
When Our envoys came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he was troubled and distressed on their account. They said,“Do not fear, nor grieve. We will save you and your family, except for your wife, who will remain behind.”.

बेशक मुसलमानों और यहूदियों और नसरानियों और ला मज़हबों में से जो कोई खुदा और रोज़े आख़िरत पर ईमान लाए और अच्छे-अच्छे काम करता रहे तो उन्हीं के लिए उनका अज्र व सवाब उनके खुदा के पास है और न(क़यामत में) उन पर किसी का ख़ौफ होगा न वह रंजीदा दिल होंगे।
Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans[before Prophet Muhammad]- those[among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness- will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

क्या जिस शख़्स ने ख़ुदा के ख़ौफ और ख़ुशनूदी पर अपनी इमारत की बुनियाद डाली हो वह ज्यादा अच्छा है या वह शख़्स जिसने अपनी इमारत की बुनियाद इस बोदे किनारे के लब पर रखी हो जिसमें दरार पड़ चुकी हो और अगर वह चाहता हो फिर उसे ले दे के जहन्नुम की आग में फट पडे और ख़ुदा ज़ालिम लोगों को मंज़िलें मक़सूद तक नहीं पहुंचाया करता।
Is he who founds his building on the fear of Allah and His pleasure, better or he who founds his building on the brink of a crumbling edge so that it will tumble with him into the Fire of Gehenna? Allah does not guide the harmdoers.

क्या जिस शख़्स ने ख़ुदा के ख़ौफ और ख़ुशनूदी पर अपनी इमारत की बुनियाद डाली हो वह ज्यादा अच्छा है या वह शख़्स जिसने अपनी इमारत की बुनियाद इस बोदे किनारे के लब पर रखी हो जिसमें दरार पड़ चुकी हो और अगर वह चाहता हो फिर उसे ले दे के जहन्नुम की आग में फट पडे और ख़ुदा ज़ालिम लोगों को मंज़िलें मक़सूद तक नहीं पहुंचाया करता।

क्या जिस शख़्स ने ख़ुदा के ख़ौफ और ख़ुशनूदी पर अपनी इमारत की बुनियाद डाली हो वह ज्यादा अच्छा है या वह शख़्स जिसने अपनी इमारत की बुनियाद इस बोदे किनारे के लब पर रखी हो जिसमें दरार पड़ चुकी हो और अगर वह चाहता हो फिर उसे ले दे के जहन्नुम की आग में फट पडे और ख़ुदा ज़ालिम लोगों को मंज़िलें मक़सूद तक नहीं पहुंचाया करता।
