Model tests and numerical analyses were performed by means of different reinforcement patterns(the number and length of bolts), in order to clarify the most effective configuration and the working mechanism of roadbed rock bolts.

For a validation tool we built a 1/10 scale model of the hall interior andperformed testing in the model during the period from October, 2012 to February, 2013.
