Said the Council of those of his people who waxed proud,'We will surely expel thee, O Shuaib, and those who believe with thee, from our city, unless you return into our creed.' He said,'What, even though we detest it?

The chiefs, those who were proud from among his people said: We will most certainly turn you out, O Shu'aib, and also; those who believe with you, from our town, or you shall come back to our faith. He said: What! though we dislike(it)?

The leaders, the arrogant party among his people, said:"O Shu'aib! we shall certainly drive thee out of our city-(thee) and those who believe with thee; or else ye(thou and they) shall have to return to our ways and religion." He said:"What! even though we do detest(them)?

Triumphant indeed are the believers.

மேலும், நீங்கள் ஒவ்வொரு வழியில் உம் உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டு, அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களை பயமுறுத்தி,( அவர்களை) அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையை விட்டுத்தடுத்து, அதில் கோணலை உண்டு பண்ணாதீர்கள்;
And do not sit on every path, threatening and averting from the way of Allah those who believe in Him, seeking to make it[seem] deviant.

மேலும் அவர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களை சந்திக்கும்போது," நாங்கள் உம் ஈமான் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்" என்று சொல்கிறார்கள்;
And when they meet those who believe, they say,"We have believed";

எவருடைய( நன்மைகளின்) எடைகள் இலேசாக இருக்கின்றனவோ, அவர்கள் தாம் தங்களையே நஷ்டப்படுத்திக் கொண்டவர்கள்; அவர்கள் தாம் நரகத்தில் நிரந்தரமானவர்கள்.
And those whose scales(of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide.

ஆனால், எவருடைய( நன்மைகளின்) எடைகள் இலேசாக இருக்கின்றனவோ, அவர்கள் தாம் தங்களையே நஷ்டப்படுத்திக் கொண்டவர்கள்; அவர்கள் தாம் நரகத்தில் நிரந்தரமானவர்கள்.
But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide.

எவருடைய( நன்மைகளின்) எடைகள் இலேசாக இருக்கின்றனவோ, அவர்கள் தாம் தங்களையே நஷ்டப்படுத்திக் கொண்டவர்கள்; அவர்கள் தாம் நரகத்தில் நிரந்தரமானவர்கள்.
As for those whose deeds weigh light in the scales- they will be the ones who have ruined their souls, and they will remain in hell[forever].

நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் போர் செய்கிறார்கள்;. நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் ஷைத்தானின் பாதையில் போர் செய்கிறார்கள்;. ஆகவே( முஃமின்களாகிய) நீங்கள் ஷைத்தானின் நண்பர்களுக்கு எதிர் ஆகப் போர் புரியுங்கள்- நிச்சயமாக ஷைத்தானின் சூழ்ச்சி பலஹீனமானதேயாகும்.
Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut(Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitan(Satan); Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitan(Satan).

அல்லாஹ்வின் மீத் உம், இறுதி நாளின் மீத் உம் ஈமான் கொண்டவர்கள், தங்கள் பொருட்களைய் உம் உயிர்களைய் உம் அர்ப்பணம் செய்து, போர் புரியாமலிருக்க உம்மிடம் அனுமதி கேட்கவேமாட்டார்கள்- பயபக்தியுடையவர்களை அல்லாஹ் நன்கு அறிவான்.
Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day would not ask your leave to be exempted from fighting with their properties and their lives, and Allah is the All-Knower of Al-Muttaqun(the pious- see V. 2:2).

On the[same] Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who believed,"Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light.
