In order to increase vigilance and mitigate the risks posed by such cash payments,persons trading in goods should be covered by this Directive to the extent that they make or receive cash payments of EUR 10 000 or more.
For this purpose Member States shall in all cases take into account relevant criteria set out in Annex II, in order to ensure that plans andprogrammes with likely significant effects on the environment are covered by this Directive.
(87) Since the Directive on pressure equipment sets no time limit for the putting into service,products covered by this Directive can be put into service at any time without being subject to further conditions according to this Directive. .
Upon notification of this Directive, Member States shall ensure that the texts of the main laws,regulations or administrative provisions which they adopt in the field covered by this Directive are communicated to the Commission.
Dose limits: maximum references laid down in Title IV for the doses resulting from the exposure of workers,apprentices and students and members of the public to ionizing radiation covered by this Directive that apply to the sum of the relevant doses from external exposures in the specified period and the 50-year committed doses(up to age 70 for children) from intakes in the same period.
Persons who do not provide services for third parties but whose business consists in providing investment services solely for their parent undertakings, for their subsidiaries, orfor other subsidiaries of their parent undertakings should not be covered by this Directive.
Each Member State shall introduce technical roadside inspections such as will achieve the objectives stated inArticle 1 as regards commercial vehicles covered by this Directive, bearing in mind the national arrangements applicable to such vehicles under Directive 96/96/EC.
Similarly, Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights defines a‘trader' as any natural person or any legal person, irrespective of whether privately or publicly owned, who is acting, including through any other person acting in his name or on his behalf, for purposes relating to his trade, business,craft or profession in relation to contracts covered by this Directive.
