Vasudeva and Devakī were Kṛṣṇa's real father and mother.
Similarly if we take the position of Devakī and Kuntī….
Devakī, the devotee who became the mother of Kṛṣṇa, was not an ordinary woman.
So how there can be another God to become the son of Vasudeva and Devakī?
Kṛṣṇa comes as the son of Devakī to glorify His devotee Devakī.
Vasudeva and Devakī prayed to the Supreme Personality of Godhead that:"We want a son like You.
Although in their former lives Vasudeva and Devakī were married, they did not have any children.
Devakī gave birth to Kṛṣṇa, but the danger was so horrible that she could not keep her son.
Prabhupāda: So this is the position of devotees, that Devakī, who happens to be the mother of Kṛṣṇa….
Instead, he kept Devakī and Vasudeva in prison for a long time(ati-ciram) and killed all their sons.
Lord Kṛṣṇa came to this world at the request of His devotees Vasudeva and Devakī(vasudevasya devakyāṁ yācito'bhyagāt).
Kṛṣṇa officially takes birth as the son of Devakī and Vasudeva, but in His childhood He enjoys the company of mother Yaśodā and Nanda Mahārāja.
Kṛṣṇa is the all-pervading Supreme Personality of Godhead(kṛṣṇāya vāsudevāya), butHe is very much pleased to become the son of Devakī(devakī-nandanāya).
Kṛṣṇa is taking birth as the son of Devakī or Mother Yaśodā, but He's not taking birth exactly like us.
Kṛṣṇa therefore said,“It is not possible to find another God,so I Myself shall become your son.” So some people say that it is because Vasudeva and Devakī wanted Kṛṣṇa as their son that He appeared.
Had He not become the son of Vasudeva and Devakī, Queen Kuntī could not claim Him to be her nephew and thus address Kṛṣṇa in parental affection.
Although Kṛṣṇa actually comes to satisfy His devotees like Vasudeva and Devakī, when He comes He performs other activities also.
The King killed all the sons of Devakī who were born before Kṛṣṇa, but Kṛṣṇa escaped the danger of child-slaughter because He was transferred to the house of Nanda Mahārāja, Lord Kṛṣṇa's foster father.
Devotee: Translation:"Others say that since both Vasudeva and Devakī prayed for You, You have taken Your birth as their son.
It is also said that Vasudeva and Devakī, in their previous birth as Sutapā and Pṛśni, underwent a severe type of penance to get the Lord as their son, and as a result of such austerities the Lord appeared as their son.
Although Kṛṣṇa actually comes to satisfy His devotees like Vasudeva and Devakī, when He comes He performs other activities also. Vadhāya ca sura-dviṣām.
When Kṛṣṇa appeared before His father and mother,Vasudeva and Devakī, He appeared with four hands, but after the prayers of the parents, He transformed Himself into an ordinary child.
Let me therefore offer my respectful obeisances unto the Lord, who has become the son of Vasudeva,the pleasure of Devakī, the boy of Nanda and the other cowherd men of Vṛndāvana, and the enlivener of the cows and the senses.
Similarly if Kṛṣṇa is within the heart of everyone, Devakī also, so if He comes out before Devakī in the same four-handed form, is it very difficult for Kṛṣṇa?
Translation:"O Hṛṣīkeśa, master of the senses and Lord of lords,You have released Your mother, Devakī, who was long imprisoned and distressed by the envious King Kaṁsa, and myself and my children from a series of constant dangers.".
