If you take pioglitazone to lower your blood sugar, Qtrilmet may not be recommended to use;
Qtrilmet must be discontinued at the time of surgery with general, spinal or epidural anaesthesia.
While a causal relationship between dapagliflozin and bladder cancer is unlikely(see sections 4.8 and5.3), as a precautionary measure, Qtrilmet is not recommended for use in patients concomitantly treated with pioglitazone.
Stop taking Qtrilmet and see a doctor straight away if you notice any of the following serious side effects.
