Be not as those who disbelieved and said of their brethren who went abroad in the land or were fighting in the field: If they had been(here) with us they would not have died or been killed: that Allah may make it anguish in their hearts. Allah giveth life and causeth death; and Allah is Seer of what ye do.
முஃமின்களே! நீங்கள் நிராகரிப்போரைப் போன்று ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள்;. பூமியில் பிரயாணம் செய்யும்போதோ அல்லது போரில் ஈடுபட்டோ( மரணமடைந்த) தம் சகோதரர்களைப் பற்றி( அந்நிராகரிப்போர்) கூறுகின்றனர்;" அவர்கள் நம்முடனே இருந்த் இருந்தால் மரணம் அடைந்தோ, கொல்லப்பட்டோ போயிருக்கமாட்டார்கள்" என்று, ஆனால் அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் மனதில் ஏக்கம் உம் கவலையும் உண்டாவதற்க் ஆகவ் ஏ இவ்வாறு செய்கிறான்;. மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வே உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறான்;. அவனே மரிக்கச் செய்கிறான்;. இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவை அனைத்தையும் பார்ப்பவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

If their aversion still weighs upon you, seek out a tunnel(going deep) into the earth, or a ladder reaching out to the skies, and bring them a sign:(Even then they will not believe). If God had willed He would have brought them all to the right path. So be not like the pagans.
( நபியே!) அவர்களின் புறக்கணிப்பு உமக்கு பெருங் கஷ்டம் ஆக இ இருந்தால், உம்மால் முடியுமானால் பூமியில் சுரங்கம் வைத்து அல்லது வானத்திலே ஓர் ஏணி வைத்து( ஏறிச்சென்று அவர்கள் விருப்பப்படி) ஓர் அத்தாட்சியை அவர்களிடம் கொண்டுவாரும்;( அப்பொழுதும் அவர்கள் உம்மை நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டு தானிருப்பார்கள்.) அன்றியும் அல்லாஹ் நாடினால் அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நேர் வழியில் ஒன்று சேர்த்து விடுவான்; ஆகவே அறிவில்லாதவர்களில் ஒருவர் ஆக நீர் ஆகிவிடவேண்டாம்.

O you who believe! be not like those who disbelieve and say of their brethren when they travel in the earth or engage in fighting: Had they been with us, they would not have died and they would not have been slain; so Allah makes this to be an intense regret in their hearts; and Allah gives life and causes death and Allah sees what you do.
முஃமின்களே! நீங்கள் நிராகரிப்போரைப் போன்று ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள்;. பூமியில் பிரயாணம் செய்யும்போதோ அல்லது போரில் ஈடுபட்டோ( மரணமடைந்த) தம் சகோதரர்களைப் பற்றி( அந்நிராகரிப்போர்) கூறுகின்றனர்;" அவர்கள் நம்முடனே இருந்த் இருந்தால் மரணம் அடைந்தோ, கொல்லப்பட்டோ போயிருக்கமாட்டார்கள்" என்று, ஆனால் அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் மனதில் ஏக்கம் உம் கவலையும் உண்டாவதற்க் ஆகவ் ஏ இவ்வாறு செய்கிறான்;. மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வே உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறான்;. அவனே மரிக்கச் செய்கிறான்;. இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவை அனைத்தையும் பார்ப்பவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

This that Allah may make it a cause of sighs and regrets in their hearts. It is Allah that gives Life and Death, and Allah sees well all that ye do.
முஃமின்களே! நீங்கள் நிராகரிப்போரைப் போன்று ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள்;. பூமியில் பிரயாணம் செய்யும்போதோ அல்லது போரில் ஈடுபட்டோ( மரணமடைந்த) தம் சகோதரர்களைப் பற்றி( அந்நிராகரிப்போர்) கூறுகின்றனர்;" அவர்கள் நம்முடனே இருந்த் இருந்தால் மரணம் அடைந்தோ, கொல்லப்பட்டோ போயிருக்கமாட்டார்கள்" என்று, ஆனால் அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் மனதில் ஏக்கம் உம் கவலையும் உண்டாவதற்க் ஆகவ் ஏ இவ்வாறு செய்கிறான்;. மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வே உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறான்;. அவனே மரிக்கச் செய்கிறான்;. இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவை அனைத்தையும் பார்ப்பவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

It is Allah that gives life and causes death. And Allah is All-Seer of what you do.
