ஒரு பிடி புல்( கற்றையை) உம் கையில் எடுத்து, அதைக் கொண்டு( உம் மனைவியை) அடிப்பீராக நீர்( உம்) சத்தியத்தை முறிக்கவ் உம் வேண்டாம்"( என்று கூறினோம்). நிச்சயமாக நாம் அவரைப் பொறுமையுடையவர் ஆகக் கண்டோம்; அவர் சிறந்த நல்லடியார்- நிச்சயமாக அவர்( எதில் உம் நம்மை) நோக்கியவராகவே இருந்தார்.
Take with your hand a bundle, and strike with it, and do not break your oath.” We found him patient. What an excellent servant! He was obedient.

அதைக் கொண்டு அவர்களுடைய வயிறுகளிலுள்ளவையும், தோல்கள் உம் உருக்க ப்படும்.
Whereby that which is in their bellies, and their skins too, will be melted;

ஒரு பிடி புல்( கற்றையை) உம் கையில் எடுத்து, அதைக் கொண்டு( உம் மனைவியை) அடிப்பீராக நீர்( உம்) சத்தியத்தை முறிக்கவ் உம் வேண்டாம்"( என்று கூறினோம்). நிச்சயமாக நாம் அவரைப் பொறுமையுடையவர் ஆகக் கண்டோம்; அவர் சிறந்த நல்லடியார்- நிச்சயமாக அவர்( எதில் உம் நம்மை) நோக்கியவராகவே இருந்தார்.
(We said to him):'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent.

அதைக் கொண்டு நாம் அவர்களைச் சோதிப்பதற்காக, ஆகவே, எவன் தன் இறைவனை நினைப்பதைப் புறக்கணிக்கிறானோ, அவனைக் கொடிய வேதனையில் அவன் புகுத்தி விடுவான்.
To test them with it. Whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will direct him to torment ever mounting.

ஒரு பிடி புல்( கற்றையை) உம் கையில் எடுத்து, அதைக் கொண்டு( உம் மனைவியை) அடிப்பீராக நீர்( உம்) சத்தியத்தை முறிக்கவ் உம் வேண்டாம்"( என்று கூறினோம்). நிச்சயமாக நாம் அவரைப் பொறுமையுடையவர் ஆகக் கண்டோம்; அவர் சிறந்த நல்லடியார்- நிச்சயமாக அவர்( எதில் உம் நம்மை) நோக்கியவராகவே இருந்தார்.
Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting.

அதைக் கொண்டு நாம் அவர்களைச் சோதிப்பதற்காக, ஆகவே, எவன் தன் இறைவனை நினைப்பதைப் புறக்கணிக்கிறானோ, அவனைக் கொடிய வேதனையில் அவன் புகுத்தி விடுவான்.
And tested them with it. And whosoever turns away from his Lord's Remembrance, He will hurl him into a stern punishment.

ஒரு பிடி புல்( கற்றையை) உம் கையில் எடுத்து, அதைக் கொண்டு( உம் மனைவியை) அடிப்பீராக நீர்( உம்) சத்தியத்தை முறிக்கவ் உம் வேண்டாம்"( என்று கூறினோம்). நிச்சயமாக நாம் அவரைப் பொறுமையுடையவர் ஆகக் கண்டோம்; அவர் சிறந்த நல்லடியார்- நிச்சயமாக அவர்( எதில் உம் நம்மை) நோக்கியவராகவே இருந்தார்.
And We said,“Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined.

அதைக் கொண்டு நாம் அவர்களைச் சோதிப்பதற்காக, ஆகவே, எவன் தன் இறைவனை நினைப்பதைப் புறக்கணிக்கிறானோ, அவனைக் கொடிய வேதனையில் அவன் புகுத்தி விடுவான்.
In order to test them with it; and whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord- He will put him in a punishment that keeps on increasing.'.

ஒரு பிடி புல்( கற்றையை) உம் கையில் எடுத்து, அதைக் கொண்டு( உம் மனைவியை) அடிப்பீராக நீர்( உம்) சத்தியத்தை முறிக்கவ் உம் வேண்டாம்"( என்று கூறினோம்). நிச்சயமாக நாம் அவரைப் பொறுமையுடையவர் ஆகக் கண்டோம்; அவர் சிறந்த நல்லடியார்- நிச்சயமாக அவர்( எதில் உம் நம்மை) நோக்கியவராகவே இருந்தார்.
(and We said to him):“Take in your hand a bundle of rushes and strike with it, and do not break your oath.” Indeed We found him steadfast. How excellent a servant(of Ours) he was. Indeed he constantly turned(to his Lord).

மேலும் இரவு பகல் மாறி மாறி வருவதில் உம், வானத்த் இலிருந்து அருள் மாரியை அல்லாஹ் இறக்கி வைத்து, இறந்து போன பூமியை அதைக் கொண்டு உயிர்ப்பிப்பதில் உம்; காற்றுகளை மாறி மாறி வீசச்செய்வதில் உம் அறிவுடைய சமூகத்தாருக்கு அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.
And in the alternation of night and day and that which Allah sendeth down of provision from the heaven and thereby quickeneth the earth after the death thereof and the turning about of the winds, are signs Unto a people who reflect.

அவர்களுக்கு நீர் அந்த நாளை நினைவூட்டுவீராக! அந்த நாளில்( அவர்கள் சேமித்து வைத்த செல்வத்தை) நரக நெருப்பிலிட்டுக் காய்ச்சி, அதைக் கொண்டு அவர்களுடைய நெற்றிகளில் உம் விலாப்புறங்களில் உம், முதுகுகளில் உம் சூடு போடப்படும்-( இன்னும்)" இது தான் நீங்கள் உங்களுக்க் ஆகச் சேமித்து வைத்தது- ஆகவே நீங்கள் சேமித்து வைத்ததைச் சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள்"( என்று கூறப்படும்).
On the Day their treasure is heated up in the fire of hell, their foreheads and their sides and their backs shall be branded with it, and they will be told,"This is what you hoarded up for yourselves. Taste then what you were hoarding.".

அவன் தான், தன்னுடைய அருள்( மாரிக் )கு முன், நற்செய்திய் ஆக( குளிர்ந்த) காற்றுகளை அனுப்பிவைக்கிறான் அவை கனத்த மேகங்களைச் சுமக்கலானதும் நாம் அவற்றை இறந்து கிடக்கும்( வரண்ட) பூமியின் பக்கம் ஓட்டிச் சென்று, அத் இலிருந்து மழையைப் பொழியச் செய்கின்றோம்; பின்னர் அதைக் கொண்டு எல்லாவிதம் ஆன கனிவகை( விளைச்சல்) களைய் உம் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம்- இவ்வாறே நாம் இறந்தவர்களைய் உம் எழுப்புவோம்.( எனவே இவற்றை யெல்ல் ஆம் சிந்தித்து) நீங்கள் நல்லுணர்வு பெறுவீர்கள் ஆக.
It is He who sends the wind ahead of His mercy. Then, when they have gathered up heavy clouds, We drive them to a dead land, where We make water come down, and with it We bring out all kinds of fruits. Thus We bring out the dead- perhaps you will reflect.

அல்லாஹ் எத்தகையவன் என்றால் அவன் தான் வானங்களைய் உம், பூமியைய் உம் படைத்து வானத்த் இலிருந்து மழையைய் உம் பொழியச் செய்து அதைக் கொண்டு கனிவர்க்கங்களைய் உம் உங்களுக்கு- ஆகாரமாக வெளிப்படுத்தித் தன் கட்டளையினால் கடலில் செல்லும் ஆறு கப்பலை உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தும், ஆறுகளைய் உம் உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்தித்தந்தான்.
God is He Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down water from the sky, and with it produces fruits for your sustenance. And He committed the ships to your service, sailing through the sea by His command, and He committed the rivers to your service.

அன்றியும், வானங்களைய் உம் பூமியைய் உம் படைத்து, உங்களுக்கு வானத்த் இலிருந்து மழையை இறக்கி வைப்பவன் யார்? பின்னர் அதைக் கொண்டு செழிப்ப் ஆன தோட்டங்களை நாம் முளைக்கச் செய்கிறோம். அதன் மரங்களை முளைக்கச் செய்வது உங்களால் முடியாது.( அவ்வாறிருக்க) அல்லாஹ்வ் உடன்( வேறு) நாயன் இருக்கின்றானா? இல்லை! ஆயினும் அவர்கள்( தம் கற்பனை தெய்வங்களை அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) சமமாக்கும் மக்களாகவே இ இருக்கிறார்கள்.
Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them.(Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, they are a people who swerve from justice.

அல்லாஹ் எத்தகையவன் என்றால் அவன் தான் வானங்களைய் உம், பூமியைய் உம் படைத்து வானத்த் இலிருந்து மழையைய் உம் பொழியச் செய்து அதைக் கொண்டு கனிவர்க்கங்களைய் உம் உங்களுக்கு- ஆகாரமாக வெளிப்படுத்தித் தன் கட்டளையினால் கடலில் செல்லும் ஆறு கப்பலை உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தும், ஆறுகளைய் உம் உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்தித்தந்தான்.
Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth and sent down water from the clouds, then brought forth with it fruits as a sustenance for you, and He has made the ships subservient to you, that they might run their course in the sea by His command, and He has made the rivers subservient to you.

நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? அல்லாஹ் வானத்த் இலிருந்து நீரை இறக்கி, அதனை பூமியில் ஊற்றுகளில் ஓடச் செய்கிறான்; அதன்பின், அதைக் கொண்டு வெள; வேறு நிறங்களை உடைய பயிர்களை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறான். அப்பால், அது உலர்ந்து மஞ்சள் நிறமடைகிறதை நீர் பார்க்கிறீர்; பின்னர் அதைக் கூளமாகச் செய்து விடுகிறான்- நிச்சயமாக இதில் அறிவுடையோருக்குப் படிப்பினை இருக்கிறது.
Have you not considered how God sends down water from the sky, then He makes it flow into underground wells, then He produces with it plants of various colors, then they wither and you see them yellowing, then He turns them into debris? Surely in this is a reminder for those with understanding.

அல்லாஹ் எத்தகையவன் என்றால் அவன் தான் வானங்களைய் உம், பூமியைய் உம் படைத்து வானத்த் இலிருந்து மழையைய் உம் பொழியச் செய்து அதைக் கொண்டு கனிவர்க்கங்களைய் உம் உங்களுக்கு- ஆகாரமாக வெளிப்படுத்தித் தன் கட்டளையினால் கடலில் செல்லும் ஆறு கப்பலை உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தும், ஆறுகளைய் உம் உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்தித்தந்தான்.
It is Allah Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His command; and the rivers(also) hath He made subject to you.

நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? அல்லாஹ் வானத்த் இலிருந்து நீரை இறக்கி, அதனை பூமியில் ஊற்றுகளில் ஓடச் செய்கிறான்; அதன்பின், அதைக் கொண்டு வெள; வேறு நிறங்களை உடைய பயிர்களை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறான். அப்பால், அது உலர்ந்து மஞ்சள் நிறமடைகிறதை நீர் பார்க்கிறீர்; பின்னர் அதைக் கூளமாகச் செய்து விடுகிறான்- நிச்சயமாக இதில் அறிவுடையோருக்குப் படிப்பினை இருக்கிறது.
Have you not seen that God sends down water from the sky, guides it to form springs in the earth, and then, with it, brings forth vegetation of various colours, which later withers, turns yellow before your eyes, and then He makes it crumble away? There is truly a reminder in this for those who possess understanding.

அவர்களுக்கு நீர் அந்த நாளை நினைவூட்டுவீராக! அந்த நாளில்( அவர்கள் சேமித்து வைத்த செல்வத்தை) நரக நெருப்பிலிட்டுக் காய்ச்சி, அதைக் கொண்டு அவர்களுடைய நெற்றிகளில் உம் விலாப்புறங்களில் உம், முதுகுகளில் உம் சூடு போடப்படும்-( இன்னும்)" இது தான் நீங்கள் உங்களுக்க் ஆகச் சேமித்து வைத்தது- ஆகவே நீங்கள் சேமித்து வைத்ததைச் சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள்"( என்று கூறப்படும்).

On the Day when that(Al-Kanz: money, gold and silver, etc., the Zakat of which has not been paid) will be heated in the Fire of Hell and with it will be branded their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs,(and it will be said unto them):-"This is the treasure which you hoarded for yourselves. Now taste of what you used to hoard.".

நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? அல்லாஹ் வானத்த் இலிருந்து நீரை இறக்கி, அதனை பூமியில் ஊற்றுகளில் ஓடச் செய்கிறான்; அதன்பின், அதைக் கொண்டு வெள; வேறு நிறங்களை உடைய பயிர்களை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறான். அப்பால், அது உலர்ந்து மஞ்சள் நிறமடைகிறதை நீர் பார்க்கிறீர்; பின்னர் அதைக் கூளமாகச் செய்து விடுகிறான்- நிச்சயமாக இதில் அறிவுடையோருக்குப் படிப்பினை இருக்கிறது.
Did you not see that it is Allah Who sent down water from the sky, and then with it made springs in the earth, and then with it produces crops of various colours, and then it dries up and you see it has become yellow, and He then fragments them into small pieces; indeed in this is a reminder for people of intellect.

பின்னர் அவர் சில சிவப்பு வால்வு மீது ஒரு முறை அதை கொண்டு தாக்கி.
Then he struck with it just once on some red valve.

And those who bring it together will drink it in my holy courts.
