Your Lord knows whoever is in the heavens and the earth. We exalted some of the prophets over the others; and to David We gave the Book of Psalms.

இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகள் இலிருந்து, காஃபிராகி விட்டவர்கள், தாவூது, மர்யமின் குமாரர் ஈஸா ஆகிய இவர்களின் நாவால் சபிக்கப் பட்ட் உள்ளனர்.
Condemned are those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel, by the tongue of David and Jesus, the son of Mary.

தாவூதுக்க் உம், ஸுலைமானுக்கும் நிச்சயமாக நாம் கல்வி ஞானத்தைக் கொடுத்தோம்; அதற்கு அவ்விருவர் உம்;" புகழ் அனைத்தும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது அவன் தான், முஃமின்கள் ஆன தன் நல்லடியார்களில் அநேகரைவிட நம்மை மேன்மையாக்கினான்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
We bestowed knowledge on David and Solomon and they both said,"Praise be to God who has exalted us above many of His believing servants.".

உம்முடைய இறைவன் வானங்களிலிம் பூமியில் உம் உள்ளவர்களைப் பற்றி நன்கு அறிவான்; நபிமார்களில் சிலரை வேறு சிலரைவிடத் திட்டம் ஆக நாம் மேன்மையாக்கியிருக்றோம்; இன்னும் தாவூதுக்கு ஜபூர்( வேதத்தையும்) கொடுத்தோம்.
And your Lord is most knowing of whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And We have made some of the prophets exceed others[in various ways], and to David We gave the book[of Psalms].

இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகள் இலிருந்து, காஃபிராகி விட்டவர்கள், தாவூது, மர்யமின் குமாரர் ஈஸா ஆகிய இவர்களின் நாவால் சபிக்கப் பட்ட் உள்ளனர். ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள்( இறைவனின் கட்டளைக்கு) மாறு செய்து கொண்டும், வரம்பு மீறி நடந்து கொண்டும் இருந்தார்கள்.
Those who disbelieved of the Children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of(Prophets) David and Jesus, the son of Mary, because they disobeyed and transgressed.

இன்னும், நிச்சயமாக நாம் தாவூதுக்கு நம்( மேன்மையான) அருளை வழங்கினோம்;" மலைகளே!( அவர் தஸ்பீஹு செய்யும் போது) அவருடன்( அத்துதியை) நீங்கள் உம் எதிரொலியுங்கள்; பறவைகளே!( நீங்கள் உம் அவ்வாறே செய்யுங்கள் என்றோம்;) மேலும் நாம் அவருக்கு இரும்பை மிருதுவாக்கித் தந்தோம்.
And assuredly We vouchsafed Unto Da'ud grace from us,' and said: mountains! repeat Our praise with him; and also ye birds! And We softened for him the iron.

இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகள் இலிருந்து, காஃபிராகி விட்டவர்கள், தாவூது, மர்யமின் குமாரர் ஈஸா ஆகிய இவர்களின் நாவால் சபிக்கப் பட்ட் உள்ளனர். ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள்( இறைவனின் கட்டளைக்கு) மாறு செய்து கொண்டும், வரம்பு மீறி நடந்து கொண்டும் இருந்தார்கள்.
Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium; this was because they disobeyed and used to exceed the limit.

நாம் ஸுலைமானுக்கு அதை( தீர்ப்பின் நியாயத்தை) விளங்க வைத்தோம்; மேலும், அவ்விருவருக்கும் ஞானத்தையும்( நற் )கல்வியைய் உம் கொடுத்தோம்; இன்னும் நாம் தாவூதுக்கு மலைகளைய் உம் பறவைகளைய் உம் வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தோம்; அவை( தாவூதுடன்) தஸ்பீஹ் செய்து கொண்ட் இருந்தன- இவற்றை யெல்ல் ஆம் நாமே செய்தோம்.
We made Solomon to understand it, and to both We gave judgment and knowledge. And with David We subjected the mountains and birds to exalt(Allah). All this We have done.

இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகள் இலிருந்து, காஃபிராகி விட்டவர்கள், தாவூது, மர்யமின் குமாரர் ஈஸா ஆகிய இவர்களின் நாவால் சபிக்கப் பட்ட் உள்ளனர். ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள்( இறைவனின் கட்டளைக்கு) மாறு செய்து கொண்டும், வரம்பு மீறி நடந்து கொண்டும் இருந்தார்கள்.
Those among the Descendants of Israel who turned disbelievers were cursed by the tongue of Dawud, and of Eisa the son of Maryam; it was because of their disobedience and their rebellion.

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all(three) guided: and before him, We guided Noah, and among his progeny, David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron: thus do We reward those who do good.

( நபியே!) நூஹுக்கும், அவருக்குப் பின் வந்த( இதர) நபிமார்களுக்க் உம் நாம் வஹீ அறிவித்தது போலவே, உமக்கும் நிச்சயமாக வஹீ அறிவித்தோம். மேலும், இப்றாஹீமுக்கும், இஸ்மாயீலுக்கும், இஸ்ஹாக்குக்கும், யஃகூபுக்கும்( அவர்களுடைய) சந்ததியினருக்கும், ஈஸாவுக்க் உம், அய்யூபுக்கும், யூனுஸுக்கும், ஹாரூனுக்கும், ஸுலைமானுக்கும் நாம் வஹீ அறிவித்தோம்;. இன்னும் தாவூதுக்கு ஜபூர்( என்னும் வேதத்தைக்) கொடுத்தோம்.
We have sent revelation to you[Prophet] as We did to Noah and the prophets who came after him, to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon and David, to whom We gave the Psalms.

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
We gave him Isaac and Jacob and guided both; and We guided Noah before them, among his descendants were David and Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron as such, We recompense the gooddoers.

( நபியே!) நூஹுக்கும், அவருக்குப் பின் வந்த( இதர) நபிமார்களுக்க் உம் நாம் வஹீ அறிவித்தது போலவே, உமக்கும் நிச்சயமாக வஹீ அறிவித்தோம். மேலும், இப்றாஹீமுக்கும், இஸ்மாயீலுக்கும், இஸ்ஹாக்குக்கும், யஃகூபுக்கும்( அவர்களுடைய) சந்ததியினருக்கும், ஈஸாவுக்க் உம், அய்யூபுக்கும், யூனுஸுக்கும், ஹாரூனுக்கும், ஸுலைமானுக்கும் நாம் வஹீ அறிவித்தோம்;. இன்னும் தாவூதுக்கு ஜபூர்( என்னும் வேதத்தைக்) கொடுத்தோம்.
We have sent thee inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: we sent inspiration to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and solomon, and to David We gave the Psalms.

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
And We gave to him Isaac and Jacob-- each one We guided, And Noah We guided before; and of his seed David and Solomon, Job and Joseph, Moses and Aaron-- even so We recompense the good-doers--.

( நபியே!) நூஹுக்கும், அவருக்குப் பின் வந்த( இதர) நபிமார்களுக்க் உம் நாம் வஹீ அறிவித்தது போலவே, உமக்கும் நிச்சயமாக வஹீ அறிவித்தோம். மேலும், இப்றாஹீமுக்கும், இஸ்மாயீலுக்கும், இஸ்ஹாக்குக்கும், யஃகூபுக்கும்( அவர்களுடைய) சந்ததியினருக்கும், ஈஸாவுக்க் உம், அய்யூபுக்கும், யூனுஸுக்கும், ஹாரூனுக்கும், ஸுலைமானுக்கும் நாம் வஹீ அறிவித்தோம்;. இன்னும் தாவூதுக்கு ஜபூர்( என்னும் வேதத்தைக்) கொடுத்தோம்.
Indeed, We have revealed to you,[O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book[of Psalms].

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
And We gave him Isaac and Jacob and guided each of them. And Noah We had guided before, and from his offspring, David and Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron- thus do We reward the virtuous-.

( நபியே!) நூஹுக்கும், அவருக்குப் பின் வந்த( இதர) நபிமார்களுக்க் உம் நாம் வஹீ அறிவித்தது போலவே, உமக்கும் நிச்சயமாக வஹீ அறிவித்தோம். மேலும், இப்றாஹீமுக்கும், இஸ்மாயீலுக்கும், இஸ்ஹாக்குக்கும், யஃகூபுக்கும்( அவர்களுடைய) சந்ததியினருக்கும், ஈஸாவுக்க் உம், அய்யூபுக்கும், யூனுஸுக்கும், ஹாரூனுக்கும், ஸுலைமானுக்கும் நாம் வஹீ அறிவித்தோம்;. இன்னும் தாவூதுக்கு ஜபூர்( என்னும் வேதத்தைக்) கொடுத்தோம்.
We have sent revelations to you as We sent revelations to Noah and the prophets(who came) after him; and We sent revelations to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob, and their offspring, and to Jesus and Job, and to Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and to David We gave the Book of Psalms.

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
We gave him Isaac and Jacob, each of whom We guided as We had guided Noah before. Among his descendants were David and Solomon, and Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the righteous.

( அதற்கு தாவூது;)" உமமுடைய ஆட்டை அவர் தம்முடைய ஆடுகள் உடன் சேர்த்து விடும்படிக் கேட்டது கொண்டு நிச்யசமாக அவர் உம்மீது அநியாயம் செய்து விட்டார்; நிச்சயம் ஆகக் கூட்டாளிகளில் பெரும்பாலோர்- அவர்களில் சிலர் சிலரை மோசம் செய்து விடுகின்றனர்; ஈமான் கொண்டு( ஸாலிஹான) நல்லமல்கள் செய்பவர்களைத் தவிர இத்தகையவர் சிலரே" என்று கூறினார்; இதற்க் உள்;" நிச்சயமாக நாமே அவரைச் சோதித்து விட்டோம்" என்று தாவூது எண்ணித் தம்முடைய இறைவனிடம் மன்னிப்பு கோரிக்குனிந்து விழுந்தவர் ஆக இறைவனை நோக்கினார்.
He(David) replied:'He has without doubt wronged you in seeking to add your ewe to his sheep. Many intermixers wrong one another; except those who believe, and do good works, and they are few indeed' David realized that We had tried him and sought the forgiveness of his Lord and fell down, prostrate and repented.

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
And We gave him Isaac and Jacob- each of them We guided. And We guided Noah previously; and from his descendants David, and Solomon, and Job, and Joseph, and Moses, and Aaron. Thus We reward the righteous.

( அதற்கு தாவூது;)" உமமுடைய ஆட்டை அவர் தம்முடைய ஆடுகள் உடன் சேர்த்து விடும்படிக் கேட்டது கொண்டு நிச்யசமாக அவர் உம்மீது அநியாயம் செய்து விட்டார்; நிச்சயம் ஆகக் கூட்டாளிகளில் பெரும்பாலோர்- அவர்களில் சிலர் சிலரை மோசம் செய்து விடுகின்றனர்; ஈமான் கொண்டு( ஸாலிஹான) நல்லமல்கள் செய்பவர்களைத் தவிர இத்தகையவர் சிலரே" என்று கூறினார்; இதற்க் உள்;" நிச்சயமாக நாமே அவரைச் சோதித்து விட்டோம்" என்று தாவூது எண்ணித் தம்முடைய இறைவனிடம் மன்னிப்பு கோரிக்குனிந்து விழுந்தவர் ஆக இறைவனை நோக்கினார்.
(David) said:"He is unjust in demanding your ewe to add to his(many) ewes. Many partners are surely-- unjust to one another, except those who believe and do the right; but there are only a few of them." It occurred to David that he was being tried by Us, and he begged his Lord to forgive him, and fell down in homage and repented.

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
And We bestowed upon him Isaac and Jacob; each of them We guided; and Noah did We guide aforetime; and of his seed(We guided) David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the good.

( அதற்கு தாவூது;)" உமமுடைய ஆட்டை அவர் தம்முடைய ஆடுகள் உடன் சேர்த்து விடும்படிக் கேட்டது கொண்டு நிச்யசமாக அவர் உம்மீது அநியாயம் செய்து விட்டார்; நிச்சயம் ஆகக் கூட்டாளிகளில் பெரும்பாலோர்- அவர்களில் சிலர் சிலரை மோசம் செய்து விடுகின்றனர்; ஈமான் கொண்டு( ஸாலிஹான) நல்லமல்கள் செய்பவர்களைத் தவிர இத்தகையவர் சிலரே" என்று கூறினார்; இதற்க் உள்;" நிச்சயமாக நாமே அவரைச் சோதித்து விட்டோம்" என்று தாவூது எண்ணித் தம்முடைய இறைவனிடம் மன்னிப்பு கோரிக்குனிந்து விழுந்தவர் ஆக இறைவனை நோக்கினார்.
David said:“He has certainly wronged you in seeking to add your ewe to his ewes; and indeed many who live together commit excesses, one to the other, except those that believe and act righteously; and they are but few.”(While so saying) David realized that it is We Who have put him to test; therefore, he sought the forgiveness of his Lord, and fell down, bowing and penitently turning(to Him).

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
And We gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob- all[of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.

( அதற்கு தாவூது;)" உமமுடைய ஆட்டை அவர் தம்முடைய ஆடுகள் உடன் சேர்த்து விடும்படிக் கேட்டது கொண்டு நிச்யசமாக அவர் உம்மீது அநியாயம் செய்து விட்டார்; நிச்சயம் ஆகக் கூட்டாளிகளில் பெரும்பாலோர்- அவர்களில் சிலர் சிலரை மோசம் செய்து விடுகின்றனர்; ஈமான் கொண்டு( ஸாலிஹான) நல்லமல்கள் செய்பவர்களைத் தவிர இத்தகையவர் சிலரே" என்று கூறினார்; இதற்க் உள்;" நிச்சயமாக நாமே அவரைச் சோதித்து விட்டோம்" என்று தாவூது எண்ணித் தம்முடைய இறைவனிடம் மன்னிப்பு கோரிக்குனிந்து விழுந்தவர் ஆக இறைவனை நோக்கினார்.
(David) said:"He has undoubtedly wronged thee in demanding thy(single) ewe to be added to his(flock of) ewes: truly many are the partners(in business) who wrong each other: Not so do those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and how few are they?"… and David gathered that We had tried him: he asked forgiveness of his Lord, fell down, bowing(in prostration), and turned(to Allah in repentance).

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
And We gave him Isaac and Jacob and guided them, as We had guided Noah before them, and of his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus We reward those who are upright and do good.

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
And We gave to him Ishaq and Yaqoub; each did We guide, and Nuh did We guide before, and of his descendants, Dawood and Sulaiman and Ayub and Yusuf and Musa and Haroun; and thus do We reward those who do good(to others).

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
We gave(Abraham) Isaac and Jacob. Both had received Our guidance. Noah received Our guidance before Abraham and so did his descendants: David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron. Thus is the reward for the righteous people.

நாம் அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கைய் உம், யஃகூபையும்( சந்ததியாகக்) கொடுத்தருளினோம், இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இதற்கு முன்னர் நாம் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததிய் இலிருந்து தாவூது, ஸுலைமான், அய்யூப், யூஸுப், மூஸா, ஹாரூன் ஆகியோரையும் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்; இப்படியே நாம் நன்மை புரிவோருக்கு நற்கூலி வழங்குகிறோம்.
And We bestowed upon him Ishaq(Isaac) and Yaqub(Jacob); We guided all of them; and We guided Nooh before them and of his descendants, Dawud and Sulaiman and Ayyub and Yusuf and Moosa and Haroon; and this is the way We reward the virtuous.
