The Taiwan Irrigation Association was established according to Article 39 of the Irrigation AssociationOrganization General Principles to promote collaborative and mutual development efforts.
The group researched a mutual aid system for the community of miners during the time, called"Sanchu Tomoko," and began to explore its forgotten history.
Taking inspiration from material exhibited at the Nippon Mining Museum, KMSI presents a forgotten history,based on research material about the mutual aid system among miners of the period, known as the"Yamanaka Tomoko" system.
In addition, life support seminars are held to provide information on such topics as the social security system,household budget improvement, and mutual aid schemes. The SGRA is implemented in four places two areas in the Bhaktapur district on the outskirts of Kathmandu and two areas in the Parsa district in central Nepal.
