So, finally, I would like to thank those who initiated the resolution we adopted today, and especially our rapporteur,Mr Mikolášik.
You completely fail to mention in your report,which forms the basis for the Mikolášik report, that many Member States have not followed the partnership principle.
MEP Miroslav Mikolášik, one of the most active supporters of Spring Day in Slovakia, plans to visit 17 secondary and primary schools in his country.
(DE) Mr President, I have voted in favour of this report andI would like to congratulate Mr Mikolášik on the excellent work he has done.
The work that has been carried out by the rapporteurs,Mr Mikolášik and Mr Perello Rodriguez, is extremely important and contributes to solving the problem that we are facing.
I would like to take this opportunity to highlight the willingness andcooperation shown by both the rapporteurs- in this case Mr Mikolášik- and the shadow rapporteurs.
The implementation report drawn up by my colleague Mr Mikolášik presents an excellent track record of what cohesion policy has achieved over the 2007-2013 financial period.
Like those who spoke earlier, I would like to stress the excellent result that we have achieved, which would not have been possible without cooperation between our rapporteurs,Mr Perello Rodriguez and Mr Mikolášik, the shadow rapporteurs, of whom I am one, and the Spanish Presidency.
The rapporteur, Mr Mikolášik, referred to the question of transparency when allocating funds, as a basic prerequisite for achieving the overall objectives of cohesion policy.
The Spanish Presidency would also like to thank Parliament for its hard work and particularly the rapporteurs,Mr Mikolášik and Mr Perello, for the work that they have done to promote the necessary agreement and consensus.

(ES) Madam President, Commissioner, Mrs Jiménez García-Herrera,I would first of all like to highlight the work done by the rapporteurs- Mr Mikolášik and Mr Perello- and all the work that they have done to reach the best possible compromise for a transplant policy in the European Union.
Miroslav Mikolášik(born 11 September 1952 in Dolný Kubín) is a Slovak politician and Member of the European Parliament with the Krestansko-demokraticke hnutie, part of the European People's Party and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Regional Development.
I would like to thank the European Parliament and, in particular, the rapporteurs Mr Pieper,Mr Mikolášik, Mr Vlasák, Mrs Sanchez-Schmid and Mr Stavrakakis for their excellent reports, which will help us to make progress with our work.
The Mikolášik report on the implementation of the cohesion policy programmes for 2007-2013, which I supported, is in this respect a useful contribution for redefining the objectives of such a policy.

This document, for which the rapporteur is Mr Mikolášik, follows the Commission communication entitled'Cohesion policy: Strategic Report 2010 on the implementation of the programmes 2007-2013'.
The Mikolášik report on safety and quality standards for organs intended for transplantation thus makes an important contribution towards minimising organ shortage and towards basic protection of the health of the recipient and the living donor.

I believe that my colleague, Mr Mikolášik, has proposed some good alterations that improve the basic text; they must be a result of his medical training and of his following this subject since the last parliamentary session.
Today, I note to my great satisfaction that the rapporteur,Mr Mikolášik, and his shadow rapporteurs, have done a splendid job and, even in this short period of time, have succeeded in achieving an agreement with the Council at first reading.

In writing.- I have supported the report lead by our colleague Mikolášik on standards of quality and safety of human organs intended for transplantation as one very urgent measure to improve the life expectation of more than 60 000 people in Europe waiting for a transplant.
I agree with the measures andgood practice proposed by Mr Mikolášik, and I believe that the proposal for broader application of core indicators is a particularly useful one, as is the preparation of reports on the results and synergies between national policies and European Union policies.
