(2) In order to ensure transparency on the world market, those provisions should be amended.
Whereas Regulation(EC) No 2200/96, in Annex I, lists the products for which standards must be adopted; whereas, of the products listed in that Annex, no Community standards have yet been laid down for, inter alia, avocados; whereas it is therefore necessary to lay down marketing standards for those products; whereas, to that end,for the sake of transparency on the world market, account should be taken of the standards recommended for those products by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe;
In the interest of transparency on the world market, the non-exhaustive list of large-fruited varieties contained in the Annex to Regulation(EC) No 1168/1999 should be amended.
Whereas the rules concerned should be redrafted and Regulation No 10/65/EEC repealed;whereas, for the sake of transparency on the world market, account should be taken of the standards recommended for garlic by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe;
(2) In order to ensure transparency on the world market, those provisions should be amended to make a clear distinction between shelling peas and peas intended for consumption with the pod.

(1) Cultivated mushrooms are among the products listed in Annex I to Regulation(EC) No 2200/96 for which standards must be adopted. To that end, andin the interest of preserving transparency on the world market, account should be taken of the standard for cultivated mushrooms recommended by the Working Party on Standardisation of Perishable Produce and Quality Development of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe(UNECE).
(2) In order to ensure transparency on the world market, account should be taken of the recent modifications of the standard for sweet peppers recommended by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, which stipulates that packages containing peppers of different colours shall not necessarily contain the same number of sweet peppers of each colour provided packages show an appropriate marking.
Whereas the rules in question should therefore be recast and Annex I to Regulation(EEC) No 920/89 repealed; whereas, to that end,for reasons of transparency on the world market, account should be taken of the standard recommended for carrots by the Working Party on Standardisation of Perishable Produce and Quality Development of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe(UN/ECE);
(2) In the interest of preserving transparency on the world market, account should be taken of the standard for table grapes recommended by the Working Party on standardisation of perishable produce and quality development of the United nations Economic Commission for Europe.
