ESCAP will continue to publish the biannual Asian-Pacific Remote Sensing and GIS Journal in 1998 and 1999.
وستواصل اﻹسكاب في عامي ٨٩٩١ و ٩٩٩١ اصدار مجلة Asian-Pacific Remote Sensing and GIS JournalThe Regional Preparatory Conference recommends that ESCAP should lead the initiative to assist the Pacific island nations in that endeavour.
ويوصي المؤتمر التحضيري اﻻقليمي بأن تتولى اﻹسكاب القيادة في المبادرة الى مساعدة دول جزر المحيط الهادىء في هذا المسعىESCAP will also pursue its efforts to harmonize regional initiatives in space cooperation in the region.
وستواصل الاسكاب أيضا بذل الجهود لتحقيق الاتساق بين المبادرات الاقليمية في مجال التعاون الفضائي في المنطقةThe Meeting noted that ESCAP would organize annual meetings of the Regional Working Group on Space Sciences and Technology Applications in 2006 and 2007.
ولاحظ الاجتماع أن الاسكاب ستنظم اجتماعين سنويين للفريق العامل الإقليمي المعني بتطبيقات العلوم والتكنولوجيا الفضائية في عامي 2006 و2007The ESCAP region now extends to 37 per cent of the world ' s land area and contains 62 per cent of its population.

وقد ذكرت اللجنة اﻻقتصادية ﻵسيا والمحيط الهادئ التدريب على استخدام الحواسيب الخفيفة من أجل التحليل الديموغرافي وتجهيز البيانات وتقييم تنظيم اﻷسرةESCAP has reported the convening in November 1995 of the Ministerial Conference on Environment and Development in Asia and the Pacific.
أبلغت اللجنة اﻻقتصادية ﻵسيا والمحيط الهادئ عن عقد المؤتمر الوزاري للبيئة والتنمية في آسيا ESCAP presented its methodology based on cost and time in order to measure the progress for establishing an efficient transit transport system.
وعرضت اللجنة الاقتصادية لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ منهجيتها التي تقوم على عنصري التكلفة والوقت لقياس التقدم المحرز في إنشاء نظام فعال للنقل العابرTo coordinate ESCAP activities with those of the major departments/offices of the United Nations at Headquarters and specialized agencies and intergovernmental organizations.
