Content of the methodology sheets.
The methodology sheets contain, inter alia, the following information.
Development of the indicator methodology sheets.
Development of methodology sheets for indicators of sustainable development.
Cooperating agencies in the development of methodology sheets.

It has also been agreed that individual methodology sheets should be posted on the Statistical Division website as soon as they become available.

An international workshop organized and sponsored by the Environment Agency of the Government of Japan, held in Glen Cove, New York, in February 1996, brought together experts from Governments, organizations and bodies of the United Nations system,other intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations to discuss the methodology sheets and provide suggestions for the further development of the indicators, as needed.
