Where a Member State exercises one or both of the options referred to in the first and second subparagraphs, it shall notify the Commission thereof.
Where the organisations referred to in the first and second subparagraph make such a request, they shall inform the national competent authorities of the Member States in which they have their principal places of business.
Where the sponsor does not provide additional explanations within the time period referred to in the first and second subparagraph, the application shall be considered as withdrawn.
Member States shall notify the Commission and ESMA of the provisions referred to in the first and second subparagraphs by 1 July 2012and shall notify them without delay of any subsequent amendment affecting those provisions.
However, the competent authorities of the country of destination or of any country of transit may request a further period of not more than one month in addition to the periods referred to in the first and second subparagraph to make their position known.
