Ethical Commitment Statement for ICOMOS Members Preamble ICOMOS, the International Council on Monuments and Sites, is the international non-governmental organisation, established in 1965 that works to promote the application of theory, methodology and scientific techniques applied to the conservation, protection and enhancement of the world's cultural heritage.
