Early life==In his early teens, he took up lessons for many musical instruments including the guitar,the bouzouki and saz(stringed instruments), the dhol(drums) and the piano, later forming a band called Erebouni.
From the snares, toms, cymbals and kicks, to the more unusual instruments like the dhol drum and the riq tambourine, Soundiron took great care when recording these instruments to ensure that the sonic details remained true-to-life.
With five female vocalists along with some of Armenia's finest instrumentalists on Duduk,Oud and Dhol, accompanied by a string quartet the ensemble creates music that is part folk, part classical and profoundly moving.
