If I file a request for early processing of a Euro-PCT application, can I use the automatic debiting procedure to pay the fees?
Can the applicant request early processing?
On the date of receipt of the request for early processing, provided that the documents under Article 20 PCT are available to the EPO;
The easiest wayis to tick the checkbox in section 12.1“Early processing” in EPO Form 1200.
Otherwise the request for early processing will only take effect on the day the EPO receives the documents referred to in Article20PCT from the IB under Rule47.4PCT.
Thus payment of the validation fee depends on when early processing is requested- i. e.

For this purpose,the applicant must file an express request for early processing under Articles 23(2) and 40(2) PCT.

Otherwise, the fees due under Rule159(1) EPC will be automatically debited on the date the documents referred to in Article20 PCT are received from the IB,and the request for early processing will then take effect on that date.
In particular, any fees due willbe automatically debited on the date the request for early processing under Article23(2) or 40(2)PCT is filed, provided the documents referred to in Article20PCT are available to the EPO on that date.
With Euro-PCT applications, the applicant can speed upentry into the European phase by expressly requesting early processing under Articles 23(2) or 40(2) PCT.
Applicants should also note that none of the fees payable for requests for early processing to be effective can be paid by automatic debit order, since they would be debited- and thus paid- only on the last day of the 31-month time limit.
Provided that all the necessary requirements are met, your request for early processing will take effect on the day the EPO receives it.
For international applications for which early processing under Article23(2) or40(2)PCT is requested, the fees debited will depend on the type of international application concerned and the date on which the request for early processing is filed.

If you file a request for early processing and you wish to pay your fees via automatic debit order, you should bear in mind that automatic debiting can only be performed if the EPO can establish whether or not a page fee needs to be included as part of the filing fee.
If on the date the request for early processing is filed all necessary requirements(see point 433) are complied with, the request for early processing is effective as from that date and the application will be processed in the same way as any"regular" Euro-PCT application which has entered the European phase.
