Scenes from everyday life===Apart from mythological motifs, Euphronios also produced many pots incorporating scenes from everyday life.
Beside Euphronios, Euthymides, Hypsis and the Dikaios painter, Smikros was one of the most important representatives of the so-called Pioneer Group of Athenian red figure vase painting.
The signature is unique, as the artist uses the formula"Euphronios egraphsen tade"-"Euphronios has painted these things.
Later, he exclusively painted red-figure, influenced especially by the Andokides Painter as well as several members ofthe Pioneer Group, especially his former pupil Euphronios.
