In various conditions user may enable Auto Empty Trash option on iMac, which empties Trash folder automatically without considering your vital files moved to Trash bin.
To be careful next time, avoid the following file deletion(/loss)circumstances- enabling'Auto Empty Trash', deleting folders using Mac terminal- turning of Time Machine and so on.
In case you accidentally or intentionally empty Trash using"Secure Empty Trash" option then the files located in Trash gets permanently deleted from your Mac and you won't find any option to restore it(The files deleted using this method is beyond recovery).
