And thither were all the flocks gathered:and they rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the sheep, and put the stone again upon the well's mouth in his place.

ആ സ്ഥലത്തു കൂട്ടങ്ങള്‍ ഒക്കെ കൂടുകയും അവര്‍കിണറ്റിന്റെ വായ്ക്കല്‍നിന്നു കല്ലു ഉരുട്ടി ആടുകള്‍ക്കു വെള്ളം കൊടുക്കയും കല്ലു കിണറ്റിന്റെ വായക്ക്ല്‍ അതിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തു തന്നേ തിരികെ വെക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

So he watered[their flock] for them. Then he withdrew toward the shade and said,‘My Lord! I am indeed in need of any good You may send down to me!'.

അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ആടുകളെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഒരു തണലില്‍ ചെന്നിരുന്ന് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീയെനിക്കിറക്കിത്തന്ന ഏതൊരുനന്മയ്ക്കും ഏറെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവനാണ് ഞാന്‍.".

When Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, that Jacob went near,and rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother.

So he watered(their flocks) for them, then he turned back to shade, and said:"My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!".

അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ആടുകളെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഒരു തണലില്‍ ചെന്നിരുന്ന് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീയെനിക്കിറക്കിത്തന്ന ഏതൊരുനന്മയ്ക്കും ഏറെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവനാണ് ഞാന്‍.".

And on the earth are tracts neighbouring each to each, and gardens of vines, and fields sown, and palms in pairs, and palms single, watered with one water; and some of them We prefer in produce above others. Surely in that are signs for a people who understand.

ഭൂമിയില്‍ അടുത്തടുത്തുള്ള ഖണ്ഡങ്ങളുണ്ട്. മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പുകളുണ്ട്. കൃഷിയുണ്ട്. ഒറ്റയായും കൂട്ടായും വളരുന്ന ഈത്തപ്പനകളുണ്ട്. എല്ലാറ്റിനെയും നനയ്ക്കുന്നത് ഒരേ വെള്ളമാണ്. എന്നിട്ടും ചില പഴങ്ങളുടെ രുചി മറ്റുചിലതിന്റേതിനെക്കാള്‍ നാം വിശിഷ്ടമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന ജനത്തിന് ഇതിലൊക്കെയും ധാരാളം ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്.

So he watered(their sheep) for them, then went back to the shade and said: My Lord! surely I stand in need of whatever good Thou mayest send down to me.

അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ആടുകളെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഒരു തണലില്‍ ചെന്നിരുന്ന് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീയെനിക്കിറക്കിത്തന്ന ഏതൊരുനന്മയ്ക്കും ഏറെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവനാണ് ഞാന്‍.".

God will admit those who believe and do good deeds to Gardens watered by flowing rivers; there they will be given bracelets of gold and pearls to wear and their clothing will be of silk.

സത്യവിശ്വാസം സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും സല്‍ക്കര്‍മങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരെ അല്ലാഹു താഴ്ഭാഗത്തൂടെ ആറുകളൊഴുകുന്ന സ്വര്‍ഗീയാരാമങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുകതന്നെ ചെയ്യും. അവരെയവിടെ സ്വര്‍ണവളകളും മുത്തും അണിയിക്കും. അവരുടെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ മിനുത്ത പട്ടുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവയായിരിക്കും.

So Moses watered their flocks for them; and returned into the shade and prayed,"Lord, I am truly in need of whatever blessing You may send down for me,".

അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ആടുകളെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഒരു തണലില്‍ ചെന്നിരുന്ന് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീയെനിക്കിറക്കിത്തന്ന ഏതൊരുനന്മയ്ക്കും ഏറെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവനാണ് ഞാന്‍.".

So he watered[their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said,"My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.".

അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ആടുകളെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഒരു തണലില്‍ ചെന്നിരുന്ന് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീയെനിക്കിറക്കിത്തന്ന ഏതൊരുനന്മയ്ക്കും ഏറെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവനാണ് ഞാന്‍.".

Therefore Moosa watered their animals for them, and then turned towards the shade and said,“My Lord! I am in need of the sustenance you may send down for me.”.

അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ആടുകളെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഒരു തണലില്‍ ചെന്നിരുന്ന് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീയെനിക്കിറക്കിത്തന്ന ഏതൊരുനന്മയ്ക്കും ഏറെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവനാണ് ഞാന്‍.".

So he watered(their flocks) for them; then he turned back to the shade, and said:"O my Lord! truly am I in(desperate) need of any good that Thou dost send me!".

അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ആടുകളെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഒരു തണലില്‍ ചെന്നിരുന്ന് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീയെനിക്കിറക്കിത്തന്ന ഏതൊരുനന്മയ്ക്കും ഏറെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവനാണ് ഞാന്‍.".

Then he watered their flocks for the twain. Then he turned aside into the shade, and said: my Lord! I verily of the good which Thou mayest send down for me I am needy.

അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ആടുകളെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഒരു തണലില്‍ ചെന്നിരുന്ന് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീയെനിക്കിറക്കിത്തന്ന ഏതൊരുനന്മയ്ക്കും ഏറെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവനാണ് ഞാന്‍.".

On hearing this Moses watered their flocks for them, and then returned in a shaded place and said:"My Lord, I am truly in great need of any good that You might send down to me.".

അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ആടുകളെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഒരു തണലില്‍ ചെന്നിരുന്ന് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, നീയെനിക്കിറക്കിത്തന്ന ഏതൊരുനന്മയ്ക്കും ഏറെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവനാണ് ഞാന്‍.".

So he watered(their flocks) for them, then he turned back to shade, and said:"My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!".

അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടി അദ്ദേഹം( അവരുടെ കാലികള്‍ക്ക്‌) വെള്ളം കൊടുത്തു. പിന്നീടദ്ദേഹം തണലിലേക്ക് മാറിയിരുന്നിട്ട് ഇപ്രകാരം പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചു: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ എനിക്ക് ഇറക്കിത്തരുന്ന ഏതൊരു നന്‍മയ്ക്കും ഞാന്‍ ആവശ്യക്കാരനാകുന്നു.
