Centre of reference.
Annex 10- Centre of reference.
I is the distance, in millimetres, from the screen to the centre of reference.
C Centre of reference.
They pass through the centre of reference.
Illumination of the retro-reflecting device" is the abbreviated expression used conventionally to designate the illumination measured in a plane perpendicular to the incident rays and passing through the centre of reference.
It passes through the centre of reference.
In width: for a single lamp the centre of reference shall be in the median longitudinal plane of the vehicle; or the edge of the illuminating surface which is nearest to that plane shall be not more than 250 mm away from it;
It passes through the centre of reference.
In the case where one S3 or S4 category lamp offset from the median longitudinal plane is permittedaccording to paragraph 6.7.2., this offset shall not exceed 150 mm from the median longitudinal plane to the centre of reference of the lamp.
Lamp surfaces, axis and centre of reference.
If necessary, in order to verify the conformity to the prescriptions of the present Regulation, layout drawing(s) for each individual lamp showing the illuminating surface, the light-emitting surface,the axis of reference and the centre of reference.
For S3 category devices: the centre of reference.
For S3 category devices: the centre of reference shall be situated on the median longitudinal plane of the vehicle.
All beams may bear on their light-emitting surface a centre of reference as shown in Annex 6.
The direction H 0° and V 0° corresponds to the reference axis.(On the vehicle, it is horizontal, parallel to the median longitudinal plane of the vehicle andoriented in the required direction of visibility). It passes through the centre of reference.
Annex 3- Lamp surfaces,axis and centre of reference, and angles of geometric visibility.
The attached drawing No.. shows the geometrical position in which the device is to be mounted on the vehicle andthe axis of reference and centre of reference of the device.
Single lamps orreflectors shall be mounted such that their centre of reference lies in the median longitudinal plane of the vehicle;
The distance between the centre of reference of illuminating surface of the category 1 indicator(arrangement"B"), category 5 indicator(arrangement"B" and"C") and the transverse plane which marks the forward boundary of the tractor's overall length normally shall not exceed 1,800 mm.
Facilitators and barriers to return to work:the experiences of workers met in a centre of reference in occupational health-SP, Brazil R ev.
The direction H 0° and V 0° corresponds to the reference axis.(On the vehicle it is horizontal, parallel to the median longitudinal plane of the vehicle andoriented in the required direction of visibility). It passes through the centre of reference.
Illumination angle" means the angle between the axis of reference andthe straight line connecting the centre of reference to the centre of the source of illumination.
In what geometrical position(s) the device may be mounted on the vehicle; the axis of observation to be taken is the axis of reference in the tests(horizontal angle H 0°, vertical angle V 0°); andthe point to be taken as the centre of reference in the said tests;
Angle of divergence" means the angle between the straight lines connecting the centre of reference to the centre of the receiver and to the centre of the source of illumination.
If necessary, in order to verify the conformity to the prescriptions of the present Regulation, layout drawing(s) for each individual lamp showing the illuminating surface as defined in paragraph 2.9., the light-emitting surface as defined in paragraph 2.8.,the axis of reference as defined in paragraph 2.11. and the centre of reference as defined in paragraph 2.12.
System reference axis" means the intersection line of the vehicle's longitudinal median plane with the horizontal plane through the centre of reference of one lighting unit specified in the drawings according to paragraph 2.2.1. below;
In what geometrical position(s) the device(and if applicable for category S3 or S4 lamps the rear window) may be mounted on the vehicle; the axis of observation to be taken is the axis of reference in the tests(horizontal angle H 0°, vertical angle V 0°); andthe point to be taken as the centre of reference in the said tests.
Each applied position is realized on the test goniometer with respect to a line joining the centre of reference and point HV on an aiming screen.
If necessary, in order to verify the conformity to the prescriptions of the present Regulation, a layout drawing or drawings of each lamp showing the illuminating surface, as defined in paragraph 2.7.1. above, the light-emitting surface as defined in paragraph 2.6.,the axis of reference as defined in paragraph 2.9. and the centre of reference as defined in paragraph 2.10.
