The Bureau commented on the draft outline of the agenda for the Conference that the secretariat had prepared on the basis of feedback from the WGSO andthe Executive Committee EXECOM.

The revised draft will be presented for discussion and adoption by the Committee at its thirteenth session in October 2006, andfor approval by the Commission through the Executive Committee EXECOM.
It was decided that EXECOM would present an annotated agenda to the Senior Officials at their fourth session.
The Bureau suggested that the item be discussed at the Belgrade Conference during the sessiondealing with implementation issues, but referred the final decision on this matter to the EXECOM and the WGSO.
It supported the EXECOM decision to invite all preparatory bodies to prepare executive summaries of their work.
The Chairman informed the Senior Officials of the outcome of the thirteenth, fourteenth andfifteenth meetings of the Executive Committee(EXECOM), which had taken place on 14-15 and 25 May, and on 16 June, respectively.
The Chairman announced that EXECOM would consider the drafting of the Ministerial Declaration at its next meeting.
The secretariat informed the Bureau about the preparatory work for the sixth Ministerial Conference"Environment for Europe"(Belgrade, October 2007) based on the document ECE/CEP/AC.11/2006/3 and on the agendas of the meetings of the Working Group of Senior Officials(WGSO)and the Executive Committee(EXECOM) on 29- 30 June 2006.
EXECOM was mandated to select a chairperson, a vice-chairperson and keynote speakers for each session of the Conference.
The work of this ad hoc working group of senior officials shall be prepared by an Executive Committee(EXECOM) composed of two senior officials from the CEE countries, two from the NIS and four from the western European countries.
EXECOM would present a revised draft of the agenda to the Ad Hoc Working Group for further consideration at its third session in March 1998.
The Chairman informed the Senior Officials of the outcome of the eighth meeting of the Executive Committee(EXECOM), which had taken place in Szentendre(Hungary) on 29 January 1998, and the ninth meeting, which had taken place immediately before the third session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Wednesday, 18 March.

Mr. Miroslav Spasojevic(Serbia), Chair of the Ad Hoc Preparatory Working Group of Senior Officials(WGSO) for the preparation of the sixth Ministerial Conference"Environment for Europe"(Belgrade,10- 12 October 2007), informed the Bureau about the key issues on the agenda of the meetings of the Executive Committee(EXECOM) and the drafting group for the Ministerial Declaration to be held on 14- 16 February 2007.

The Senior Officials requested EXECOM to prepare a second draft to be circulated around 20 May to the Senior Officials for formal comments by 5 June date to be fixed by EXECOM. .
The Senior Officials agreed with the proposal of EXECOM that the Conference report should contain the main decisions and conclusions from each session and would be prepared after the Conference by the ECE secretariat.
The Senior Officials decided that EXECOM should prepare the first draft of the Ministerial Declaration, which would be circulated among heads of delegation on 21 April and discussed at the fourth session on 27-29 April.
