Each Member State shall be responsible for the type-approval of a system,separate technical unit or component that it grants.
Type-approval certificates of a system, separate technical unit or component shall be numbered in accordance with the method described in Annex V, Part A.
The manufacturer shall be responsible for the manufacture of each vehicle or the production of each system,separate technical unit or component in compliance with the approved type.
