Shazada Muhammad Shah Shuja wasappointed by Shah Jahan as the Subahdar of Bengal and Bihar from 1641 and of Orissa from 25 July 1648 until 1661. Dr. Ahmad Ashfaque Karim( born 12 March 1956) is an Indian teacher, social worker and politician. He is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha of the Indian Parliament from Rashtriya Janata Dal.[ 1] He is the founder Chairman of Al-Karim Educational Trust, Patna, Bihar; founder Chancellor of Al-Karim University, Katihar, Bihar; and founder Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Katihar Medical College, Katihar, Bihar.[ 2].
Among his descendants, Makhdoom Shah Daulat died in 1608. Hismausoleum Chhoti Dargah was built by Ibrahim Khan Kankar, Governor of Bihar, and completed in 1616. It is still known as an excellent example of Mughal architecture.[2] Like several other shrines of Sufi saints, Hazarat Makhdoom Yahya Maneri is revered both by Muslims as well as by Hindus.
