اور اللہ نے کہاوت بیان فرمائی دو مرد ایک گونگا جو کچھ کام نہیں کرسکتا اور وہ اپنے آقا پر بوجھ ہے جدھر بھیجے کچھ بھلائی نہ لائے کیا برابر ہوجائے گا ہ اور وہ جو انصاف کا حکم کرتا ہے اور وہ سیدھی راہ پر ہے، ف۱۶۷?

Allah propoundeth a similitude: man having several partners,"quarelling, and a man wholly belonging to one man. Are the two equal in likeness? All praise Unto Allah. But most of them know not.
اللہ نے اس شخص کی مثال بیان کی ہے جس میں بہت سے جھگڑا کرنے والے شرکائ ہوں اور وہ شخص جو ایک ہی شخص کے سپرد ہوجائے کیا دونوں حالات کے اعتبار سے ایک جیسے ہوسکتے ہیں ساری تعریف اللہ کے لئے ہے مگر ان کی اکثریت سمجھتی ہی نہیں ہے

And Allah propoundeth for those who believe the similitude of the wife Of Fir'awn, when she said:'my Lord! build me in Thine presence a house in the Garden, and deliver me from Fir'awn and his handiwork, and deliver me from the transgressing people.
اور اللہ نے اُن لوگوں کے لئے جو ایمان لائے ہیں زوجۂ فرعون(آسیہ بنت مزاحم) کی مثال بیان فرمائی ہے، جب اس نے عرض کیا: اے میرے رب! تو میرے لئے بہشت میں اپنے پاس ایک گھر بنا دے اور مجھ کو فرعون اور اُس کے عملِ(بد) سے نجات دے دے اور مجھے ظالم قوم سے(بھی) بچا لے

اور اللہ نے کہاوت بیان فرمائی ایک بستی کہ امان و اطمینان سے تھی ہر طرف سے اس کی روزی کثرت سے آتی تو وہ اللہ کی نعمتوں کی ناشکری کرنے لگی تو اللہ نے اسے یہ سزا چکھائی کہ اسے بھوک اور ڈر کا پہناوا پہنایا بدلہ ان کے کیے کا

اور خدا ایک بستی کی مثال بیان فرماتا ہے کہ(ہر طرح) امن چین سے بستی تھی ہر طرف سے رزق بافراغت چلا آتا تھا۔ مگر ان لوگوں نے خدا کی نعمتوں کی ناشکری کی تو خدا نے ان کے اعمال کے سبب ان کو بھوک اور خوف کا لباس پہنا کر(ناشکری کا) مزہ چکھا دیا

That is because those who disbelieve follow the falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. And thus Allah propoundeth Unto mankind their similitude.
یہ اس لیے کہ کافر باطل کے پیرو ہوئے اور ایمان والوں نے حق کی پیروی کی جو ان کے رب کی طرف سےہے اللہ لوگوں سے ان کے احوال یونہی بیان فرماتا ہے

Allah propoundeth a similitude: there is a bondman enslaved who hath not power over aught; and there is one whom We have provided from Ourselves with goodly provision and he expendeth thereof secretly and openly; can they be equal? All praise Unto Allah; but most of them know not.
اللہ نے ایک کہاوت بیان فرمائی ایک بندہ ہے دوسرے کی ملک آپ کچھ مقدور نہیں رکھتا اور ایک جسے ہم نے اپنی طرف سے اچھی روزی عطا فرمائی تو وہ اس میں سے خرچ کرتا ہے چھپے اور ظاہر کیا وہ برابر ہوجائیں گے سب خوبیاں اللہ کو ہیں بلکہ ان میں اکثر کو خبر نہیں

اور اللہ نے ایک اور مثال ان دو انسانوں کی بیان کی ہے جن میں سے ایک گونگا ہے اور اس کے بس میں کچھ نہیں ہے بلکہ وہ خود اپنے مولا کے سر پر ایک بوجھ ہے کہ جس طرف بھی بھیج دے کوئی خیر لے کر نہ آئے گا تو کیا وہ اس کے برابر ہوسکتا ہے جو عدل کا حکم دیتا ہے اور سیدھے راستہ پر گامزن ہے?

اور اللہ نے ایک بستی کی مثال بیان کی ہے جو امن و اطمینان سے(آباد) تھی اس کی روزی فراغت سے آرہی تھی پس اس نے کفرانِ نعمت شروع کیا تو اللہ نے اس کے باشندوں کے کرتوتوں کی پاداش میں اسے یہ مزہ چکھایا کہ بھوک اور خوف کو اس کا اوڑھنا بنا دیا

اللہ تعالیٰ ایک اور مثال بیان فرماتا ہے، دو شخصوں کی، جن میں سے ایک تو گونگا ہے اور کسی چیز پر اختیار نہیں رکھتا بلکہ وه اپنے مالک پر بوجھ ہے کہیں بھی اسے بھیجے وه کوئی بھلائی نہیں ﻻتا، کیا یہ اور وه جو عدل کا حکم دیتا ہے اور ہے بھی سیدھی راه پر، برابر ہوسکتے ہیں؟?

He propoundeth unto you a similitude taken from yourselves. Have you, from among those whom your right hands own, partners in that wherewith We have provided you, so that ye are equal in respect thereof, and ye fear them as ye fear each other? In this wise We detail the signs for a people who reflect.
وہ تمہارے لیے تمہارے ہی حال کی ایک مثال بیان فرماتا ہے کیا جن کے تم مالک ہو وہ اس میں جو ہم نے تمہیں دیا ہے تمہارے شریک ہیں پھر اس میں تم برابر ہو تم ان سے اس طرح ڈرتے ہو جس طرح اپنوں سے ڈرتے ہو اس طرح ہم عقل والوں کے لیے آیتیں کھول کر بیان کرتے ہیں

اور اللہ نے ایک ایسی بستی کی مثال بیان فرمائی ہے جو(بڑے) امن اور اطمینان سے(آباد) تھی اس کا رزق اس کے(مکینوں کے) پاس ہر طرف سے بڑی وسعت و فراغت کے ساتھ آتا تھا پھر اس بستی(والوں) نے اللہ کی نعمتوں کی ناشکری کی تو اللہ نے اسے بھوک اور خوف کے عذاب کا لباس پہنا دیا ان اعمال کے سبب سے جو وہ کرتے تھے

اللہ تعالیٰ ایک مثال بیان فرماتا ہے کہ ایک غلام ہے دوسرے کی ملکیت کا، جو کسی بات کا اختیار نہیں رکھتا اور ایک اور شخص ہے جسے ہم نے اپنے پاس سے معقول روزی دے رکھی ہے، جس میں سے وه چھپے کھلے خرچ کرتا ہے۔ کیا یہ سب برابر ہوسکتے ہیں؟ اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کے لیے سب تعریف ہے، بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر نہیں جانتے

خدا ایک اور مثال بیان فرماتا ہے کہ ایک غلام ہے جو(بالکل) دوسرے کے اختیار میں ہے اور کسی چیز پر قدرت نہیں رکھتا اور ایک ایسا شخص ہے جس کو ہم نے اپنے ہاں سے(بہت سا) مال طیب عطا فرمایا ہے اور وہ اس میں سے(رات دن) پوشیدہ اور ظاہر خرچ کرتا رہتا ہے تو کیا یہ دونوں شخص برابر ہیں؟(ہرگز نہیں) الحمدلله لیکن ان میں سے اکثر لوگ نہیں سمجھ رکھتے

اور خدا ایک اور مثال بیان فرماتا ہے کہ دو آدمی ہیں ایک اُن میں سے گونگا(اور دوسرے کی ملک) ہے(بےاختیار وناتوان) کہ کسی چیز پر قدرت نہیں رکھتا۔ اور اپنے مالک کو دوبھر ہو رہا ہے وہ جہاں اُسے بھیجتا ہے(خیر سے کبھی) بھلائی نہیں لاتا۔ کیا ایسا(گونگا بہرا) اور وہ شخص جو(سنتا بولتا اور) لوگوں کو انصاف کرنے کا حکم دیتا ہے اور خود سیدھے راستے پر چل رہا ہے دونوں برابر ہیں؟?
