Whatsoever has been given you is the stuff this life is made of, and only its embellishment. What is with your Lord is better and abiding. Will you not understand?

செல்வம் உம், பிள்ளைகள் உம் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் அலங்காரங்களேயாகும் என்ற் உம் நிலைத்து நிற்கக் கூடிய நற்கருமங்களே உம்முடைய இறைவனிடத்தில் நன்மைப் பலனுடையவைய் ஆகவ் உம்,( அவனிடத்தில்) நம்பிக்கைய் உடன் ஆதரவு வைக்கத்தக்கவைய் ஆகவ் உம் இருக்கின்றன.
Wealth and children are[but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for[one's] hope.

மேலும், உங்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப் பட்டிருப்பவையெல்ல் ஆம்( அற்பமாகிய) இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் சுகம் உம், அதனுடைய அலங்காரம் உம் தான்; ஆனால் அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் இருப்பவை மிகவும் மேலானவைய் ஆகவ் உம் நிலையானவைய் ஆகவ் உம் இருக்கின்றன( இதை) நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ள மாட்டீர்களா?"?
The things you have been given, and its adornments, are but the enjoyment of this present life. What is with Allah is better and everlasting. Do you not understand?

இன்னும்;" எங்கள் இறைவனே! நிச்சயமாக நீ ஃபிர்அவ்னுக்கும் அவனுடைய பிரமுகர்களுக்க் உம் அலங்காரத்தையும், இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் செல்வங்களைய் உம் கொடுத்திருக்கிறாய்; எங்கள் இறைவனே!( அவற்றைக் கொண்டு) அவர்கள் உன் பாதையை விட்டு வழி கெடுக்கிறார்கள்; எங்கள் இறைவனே!
And Moses said,"Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life, our Lord, that they may lead[men] astray from Your way!

உங்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப் பட்டிருப்பவையெல்ல் ஆம்( அற்பமாகிய) இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் சுகம் உம், அதனுடைய அலங்காரம் உம் தான்; ஆனால் அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் இருப்பவை மிகவும் மேலானவைய் ஆகவ் உம் நிலையானவைய் ஆகவ் உம் இருக்கின்றன( இதை) நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ள மாட்டீர்களா?"?
Whatever you have been given is a provision for the life of this world and its glitter. But that which is with Allah is better and more enduring. Do you not use your intellect?

And whatever you have been given, is a usage in the life of this world and its adornment; and that which is with Allah is better and more lasting; so do you not have sense?

எவனுக்கு நாம் அழகான வாக்க் ஆக வாக்குறுதியளித்து அதை அவனும் அடையப்போகிறானோஅ( த்தகைய )வன், எவனுக்கு நாம் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின்( அற்ப) சுகங்களை மட்டும் கொடுத்துப் பின்னர் கியாம நாளில்( தண்டனை பெறுவதற்க் ஆக நம்முன்) கொண்டு வரப்படுவானோ அவனைப் போலாவானா?
Is he to whom We promised a fine promise and receives it, like he who has been given the enjoyment of this present life, then on the Day of Resurrection shall be among those that are arraigned?

And whatsoever ye have been given is a comfort of the life of the world and an ornament thereof; and that which Allah hath is better and more lasting. Have ye then no sense?

He to whom We have promised a good which he is going to obtain- can he be like him whom We have given the good things of this life, but who will be brought up for punishment on the Day of Judgement?

Whatever you are given in this life is nothing but a temporary provision of this life and its glitter; what God has is better and more lasting. Will you not then understand?

Is he to whom We have given a good promise, which he will receive, like him whom We have provided the wares of the life of this world, but who will be arraigned on the Day of Resurrection?

மேலும், உங்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப் பட்டிருப்பவையெல்ல் ஆம்( அற்பமாகிய) இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் சுகம் உம், அதனுடைய அலங்காரம் உம் தான்; ஆனால் அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் இருப்பவை மிகவும் மேலானவைய் ஆகவ் உம் நிலையானவைய் ஆகவ் உம் இருக்கின்றன( இதை) நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ள மாட்டீர்களா?"?
And whatever thing you[people] have been given- it is[only for] the enjoyment of worldly life and its adornment. And what is with Allah is better and more lasting; so will you not use reason?

எவனுக்கு நாம் அழகான வாக்க் ஆக வாக்குறுதியளித்து அதை அவனும் அடையப்போகிறானோஅ( த்தகைய )வன், எவனுக்கு நாம் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின்( அற்ப) சுகங்களை மட்டும் கொடுத்துப் பின்னர் கியாம நாளில்( தண்டனை பெறுவதற்க் ஆக நம்முன்) கொண்டு வரப்படுவானோ அவனைப் போலாவானா?
One to whom We have made a goodly promise, and who is going to reach its(fulfilment), and one to whom We have given the good things of this life, but who, on the Day of Judgment, is to be among those brought up(for punishment)?

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில்( போருக்குப் புறப்பட்டுச்) செல்லுங்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டால், நீங்கள் பூமியின் பக்கம் சாய்ந்து விடுகிறீர்களே உங்களுக்கு உன்ன நேர்ந்து விட்டது? மறுமையைவிட இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையைக் கொண்டே நீங்கள் திருப்தியடைந்து விட்டீர்களா?மறுமை( யின் வாழ்க்கை )க்கு முன்பு இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் இன்பம் மிகவும் அற்பமானது.
O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.

எவனுக்கு நாம் அழகான வாக்க் ஆக வாக்குறுதியளித்து அதை அவனும் அடையப்போகிறானோஅ( த்தகைய )வன், எவனுக்கு நாம் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின்( அற்ப) சுகங்களை மட்டும் கொடுத்துப் பின்னர் கியாம நாளில்( தண்டனை பெறுவதற்க் ஆக நம்முன்) கொண்டு வரப்படுவானோ அவனைப் போலாவானா?
So is he whom We have given a good promise- he will therefore get it- equal to him whom We gave the usage of the life of this world to enjoy, and who will then be brought captive on the Day of Resurrection?

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில்( போருக்குப் புறப்பட்டுச்) செல்லுங்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டால், நீங்கள் பூமியின் பக்கம் சாய்ந்து விடுகிறீர்களே உங்களுக்கு உன்ன நேர்ந்து விட்டது? மறுமையைவிட இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையைக் கொண்டே நீங்கள் திருப்தியடைந்து விட்டீர்களா?மறுமை( யின் வாழ்க்கை )க்கு முன்பு இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் இன்பம் மிகவும் அற்பமானது.
O you who believe! What(excuse) have you that when it is said to you: Go forth in Allah's way, you should incline heavily to earth; are you contented with this world's life instead of the hereafter? But the provision of this world's life compared with the hereafter is but little.

எவனுக்கு நாம் அழகான வாக்க் ஆக வாக்குறுதியளித்து அதை அவனும் அடையப்போகிறானோஅ( த்தகைய )வன், எவனுக்கு நாம் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின்( அற்ப) சுகங்களை மட்டும் கொடுத்துப் பின்னர் கியாம நாளில்( தண்டனை பெறுவதற்க் ஆக நம்முன்) கொண்டு வரப்படுவானோ அவனைப் போலாவானா?
Is he whom We have promised a fair promise which he will find(true) like him whom We suffer to enjoy awhile the comfort of the life of the world, then on the Day of Resurrection he will be of those arraigned?

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில்( போருக்குப் புறப்பட்டுச்) செல்லுங்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டால், நீங்கள் பூமியின் பக்கம் சாய்ந்து விடுகிறீர்களே உங்களுக்கு உன்ன நேர்ந்து விட்டது? மறுமையைவிட இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையைக் கொண்டே நீங்கள் திருப்தியடைந்து விட்டீர்களா?மறுமை( யின் வாழ்க்கை )க்கு முன்பு இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் இன்பம் மிகவும் அற்பமானது.
O you who have believed, what is[the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth? Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a[very] little.

எவனுக்கு நாம் அழகான வாக்க் ஆக வாக்குறுதியளித்து அதை அவனும் அடையப்போகிறானோஅ( த்தகைய )வன், எவனுக்கு நாம் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின்( அற்ப) சுகங்களை மட்டும் கொடுத்துப் பின்னர் கியாம நாளில்( தண்டனை பெறுவதற்க் ஆக நம்முன்) கொண்டு வரப்படுவானோ அவனைப் போலாவானா?
Will you not understand? What, is he to whom We have promised a fair promise, and he receives it, like him to whom We have given the enjoyment of the present life, then he on the Resurrection Day shall be of those that are arraigned?

இன்னும்;" எங்கள் இறைவனே! நிச்சயமாக நீ ஃபிர்அவ்னுக்கும் அவனுடைய பிரமுகர்களுக்க் உம் அலங்காரத்தையும், இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் செல்வங்களைய் உம் கொடுத்திருக்கிறாய்; எங்கள் இறைவனே!( அவற்றைக் கொண்டு) அவர்கள் உன் பாதையை விட்டு வழி கெடுக்கிறார்கள்; எங்கள் இறைவனே! அவர்களுடைய செல்வங்களை அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய நெஞ்சங்களைய் உம் கடினமாக்கி விடுவாயாக! நோவினை தரும் வேதனையை அவர்கள் பார்க்காதவரையில், அவர்கள் ஈமான் கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள்" என்று மூஸா கூறினார்.
Moses said,"Lord, You have given the Pharaoh and his people great riches and splendor in this life and this makes them stray from Your path. Lord, destroy their wealth and harden their hearts in disbelief so that they will suffer the most painful torment".

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில்( போருக்குப் புறப்பட்டுச்) செல்லுங்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டால், நீங்கள் பூமியின் பக்கம் சாய்ந்து விடுகிறீர்களே உங்களுக்கு உன்ன நேர்ந்து விட்டது? மறுமையைவிட இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையைக் கொண்டே நீங்கள் திருப்தியடைந்து விட்டீர்களா?மறுமை( யின் வாழ்க்கை )க்கு முன்பு இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் இன்பம் மிகவும் அற்பமானது.
O Ye who believe! what aileth you that when it is said unto you: march forth in the way of Allah, ye are weighed down earthward? Are ye pleased with the life of the world rather than the Hereafter? whereas the enjoyment of the life of the world by the side of the Hereafter is but little.

இன்னும்;" எங்கள் இறைவனே! நிச்சயமாக நீ ஃபிர்அவ்னுக்கும் அவனுடைய பிரமுகர்களுக்க் உம் அலங்காரத்தையும், இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் செல்வங்களைய் உம் கொடுத்திருக்கிறாய்; எங்கள் இறைவனே!( அவற்றைக் கொண்டு) அவர்கள் உன் பாதையை விட்டு வழி கெடுக்கிறார்கள்; எங்கள் இறைவனே! அவர்களுடைய செல்வங்களை அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய நெஞ்சங்களைய் உம் கடினமாக்கி விடுவாயாக! நோவினை தரும் வேதனையை அவர்கள் பார்க்காதவரையில், அவர்கள் ஈமான் கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள்" என்று மூஸா கூறினார்.
Moses said,“Our Lord, you have given Pharaoh and his chiefs splendor and wealth in the worldly life. Our Lord, for them to lead away from Your path. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth, and harden their hearts, they will not believe until they see the painful torment.”.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில்( போருக்குப் புறப்பட்டுச்) செல்லுங்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டால், நீங்கள் பூமியின் பக்கம் சாய்ந்து விடுகிறீர்களே உங்களுக்கு உன்ன நேர்ந்து விட்டது? மறுமையைவிட இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையைக் கொண்டே நீங்கள் திருப்தியடைந்து விட்டீர்களா?மறுமை( யின் வாழ்க்கை )க்கு முன்பு இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் இன்பம் மிகவும் அற்பமானது.

நிச்சயமாக, நாம் நம்முடையரஸூல்( தூதர்) களுக்க் உம், ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களுக்க் உம், இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் உம், சாட்சிகள் நிலைபெறும் நாளில் உம் உதவி செய்வோம்.
We will, without doubt, help Our messengers and those who believe,(both) in this world's life and on the Day when the Witnesses will stand forth,-.
