Auto Apply Drivers.

Auto Apply Drivers contains the following elements.
This opens the Edit Auto Apply Quota dialog box.
Displays the parent volume or folder for this auto apply quota.

The quota that you create can be an auto apply quota.
Do not apply auto apply quota to derived quotas.
Updates all existing quotas in the auto apply quota path.
The Auto Apply Drivers task sequence action performs the following steps.
Lists a summary of properties for this auto apply quota.
In Quotas, select the auto apply quota that you want to modify.
You can filter the quotas to show only auto apply quotas.
Click Auto apply template and create quotas on existing and new subfolders.
Specifies the existing quota template that this auto apply quota is based on.
With an auto apply quota, you assign a quota template to a parent volume or folder.
Click OK. This will open the Update Quotas Derived from Auto Apply Quota dialog box.
Auto apply drivers- allows you to automatically match and install device drivers as part of an operating system deployment.

To allow Configuration Manager 2007 to search forthe appropriate device drivers, add the Auto Apply Drivers task sequence step.
This option will update only those quotas in the auto apply quota path that have not been edited since they were automatically generated.
The category assignment is also used to configure the device drivers that will be considered by the Auto Apply Driver task sequence step.
To create an auto apply quota, click the Auto apply template and create quotas on existing and new subfolders option.
If a device driver is enabled it can be installed by the Auto Apply Driver action and as part of an Apply Driver Package action.
If specified, the Auto Apply Driver task sequence action will only consider drivers in at least one of these categories when installing drivers.
Provides information about the Configuration Manager 2007 management point when it responds to a request from the Auto Apply Driver task sequence action.
If a device driver is disabled it will not be installed by the Auto Apply Driver action but can still be installed as part of a Apply Driver Package action.
The Auto Apply Drivers task sequence step cannot be used with stand-alone media because Windows Setup will have no connection to the Configuration Manager 2007 site.
