I have the honour to inform you that the members of the Security Council have decided to send a mission to the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 10 to 12 June 2006.

UNDP had launched a mission to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which had identified three areas in which contributions could be made to building the capacities of the new Government:(a) reversal of the country's brain-drain through the return of expatriate nationals;(b) policy analysis and coordination; and(c) aid coordination.
