Ways in which to move forward in integrating tobacco control into the human rights agenda can include utilizing United Nations human rights treaty bodies(the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, the Committee on the Rights of the Child and the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights), developing guidelines and alerting more non-governmental organizations to the importance of including this issue in their lobbying and awareness-raising activities with Governments.
