More importantly, developed countries must demonstrate political sincerity, faithfully fulfil their official development assistance commitments,increase their financial and technical support to developing countries,and help them to effectively realize the right to development.
In addition, the Secretary-General wishes to express his appreciation to the Governments of Japan, Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea and to the city of Osaka for their financial and technical support for the United Nations conferencesand meetings organized by the Centre during the past year.
