Mrs. Mladineo(Croatia): Let me begin by welcoming the President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia(ICTY) andextending our thanks to him for presenting the thirteenth annual report.

Mr. Pocar: I am greatly honoured to address the Assembly today as President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia andpresent to the Assembly the thirteenth annual report of the International Tribunal.
At its sixty-third session, the General Assembly took note of the thirteenth annual report of the Tribunal, covering the period from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008 decision 63/505.
In conclusion, the thirteenth annual report to the Assembly demonstrates that, notwithstanding the significant challenges encountered over the past year, the International Tribunal pressed full speed ahead with its judicial and prosecutorial work, resulting in a very productive period in the Tribunal's history.

I have the honour to submit the thirteenth annual report of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 dated 15 August 2006 to the General Assembly and the Security Council, pursuant to article 34 of the statute of the International Tribunal.
At its sixty-first session, the General Assembly took note of the thirteenth annual report of the Tribunal, covering the period from 1 August 2005 to 31 July 2006 decision 61/506.
The thirteenth annual report is submitted to the General Assembly and Security Council by the President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Genocide and Other Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of Rwanda and Rwandan Citizens Responsible for Genocide and Other Such Violations Committed in the Territory of Neighbouring States between 1 January and 31 December 1994, pursuant to article 32 of the statute of the Tribunal.
The Secretary-General has the honour to transmit to the members of the General Assembly andto the members of the Security Council the thirteenth annual report of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda submitted by the President of the International Criminal Tribunal in accordance with article 32 of its statute(see Security Council resolution 955(1994), annex), which states.

I am honoured to present to the General Assembly today the Tribunal's thirteenth annual report, which outlines the Tribunal's activities from July 2007 to June 2008 and reflects those remarkable and ongoing achievements and the Tribunal's unwavering commitment to its mandate.
At its 24th plenary meeting, on 13 October 2008, the General Assembly took note of the thirteenth annual report of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Genocide and Other Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of Rwanda and Rwandan Citizens Responsible for Genocide and Other Such Violations Committed in the Territory of Neighbouring States between 1 January and 31 December 1994.
On 9 October 2006,President Pocar addressed the General Assembly on the Tribunal's thirteenth annual report. On 15 November 2006, the President submitted the Tribunal's sixth completion strategy report. On 15 December 2006, the President and the Prosecutor addressed the Security Council on that report. On 15 May 2007, President Pocar submitted the seventh completion strategy report, and on 18 June 2007, the President and the Prosecutor presented that report before the Council.
The Committee therefore recommends that the Secretary-General provide all the related information to the General Assembly for approval in the thirteenth annual progress report.
On 21 October 2011, the Chairperson presented the Committee's annual report concerning its thirteenth and fourteenth sessions to the Third Committee of the General Assembly.
The Committee recommends that the General Assembly request the Secretary-General to provide clear information and justification on the completion of the workrelating to 42nd and 48th Streets in the thirteenth annual progress report.
Requests the Special Rapporteur to submit her next annual report to the Council at its thirteenth session;
In its resolution 10/25, the Council requested the Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion orbelief to submit her annual report to the Council at its thirteenth session.

I have the honour to convey to you my thanks for transmitting your annual report for 2009 on the situation of human rights in Colombia, to be submitted to the Human Rights Council at its thirteenth session.
