Есѳирь встала, и стала предъ лицемъ царя.
So Esther arose, and stood before the king.

И сказала Есѳирь: врагъ и непріятель есть сей злой Аманъ.
And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman.

И сказалъ ей царь: что у тебя, царица Есѳирь? какая твоя просьба?
Then the king said, What is your desire, Queen Esther, and what is your request?

И отвѣчала Есѳирь, и сказала: вотъ мое желаніе и моя просьба.
And Esther answered and said, My petition and my request is.

И пошелъ Мардохей, и сдѣлалъ точно такъ, какъ приказала ему Есѳирь.
And Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him.

А Мардохей предсталъ предъ лице царя, потому что Есѳирь сказала, кто онъ ей.
And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.

Когда они еще разговаривали съ нимъ, пришли евнухи царевы и торопили Амана итти на обѣдъ, который приготовила Есѳирь.
And while they were yet talking with him, came the Kings eunuches& hasted to bring Haman vnto the banket that Ester had prepared.

И сказала Есѳирь: если благоугодно царю, то да пріидетъ царь съ Аманомъ сегодня на обѣдъ, который я приготовлю для него.
And Esther said, If it seem good to the king, let the king and Haman come this day to the banquet that I have prepared for him.

Когда они еще разговаривали съ нимъ, пришли евнухи царевы и торопили Амана итти на обѣдъ, который приготовила Есѳирь.
While they were yet talking with him, came the king's chamberlains, and hasted to bring Haman unto the banquet that Esther had prepared.

На третій день Есѳирь одѣлась по царски, и стала на внутреннемъ дворѣ царскаго дома, предъ домомъ царя.
And it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house.

Это дошло до свѣдѣнія Мардохея, и онъ далъ знать царицѣ Есѳири, а Есѳирь сказала царю отъ имени Мардохея.
And the thing is known to Mordecai, and he declareth[it] to Esther the queen, and Esther speaketh to the king in the name of Mordecai.

И сказала Есѳирь: если благоугодно царю, то да пріидетъ царь съ Аманомъ сегодня на обѣдъ, который я приготовлю для него.
And Esther in answer said, If it seems good to the king, let the king and Haman come today to the feast which I have made ready for him.

Чтобъ они твердо наблюдали сіи дни Пуримъ въ опредѣленное ихъ время, какое поставилъ для нихъ Мардохей Іудеянинъ и царица Есѳирь, и какъ они сами установили для себя и для дѣтей своихъ, касательно пощеній и воплей во время ихъ.
Giving the force of law to these days of Purim at their fixed times, as they had been ordered by Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen, and in keeping with the rules they had made for themselves and their seed, in connection with their time of going without food and their cry for help.

И царица Есѳирь, дочь Авихаила, и Мардохей Іудеянинъ писали со всею настойчивостію, чтобъ вторично подтвердить сіе письмо о Пуримѣ.
And Esther the queen, daughter of Abihail, writeth, and Mordecai the Jew, with all might, to establish this second letter of Purim.

Тогда, какъ царь увидѣлъ царицу Есѳирь, стоящую на дворѣ, она нашла милость въ очахъ его, и простеръ царь къ Есѳири золотой скипетръ, который былъ въ рукѣ его.
And when the king saw Esther the queen waiting in the inner room, looking kindly on her he put out the rod of gold in his hand to her.

И царица Есѳирь, дочь Авихаила, и Мардохей Іудеянинъ писали со всею настойчивостію, чтобъ вторично подтвердить сіе письмо о Пуримѣ.
Then Esther the queen, daughter of Abihail, and Mordecai the Jew, sent a second letter giving the force of their authority to the order about the Purim.

Тогда, какъ царь увидѣлъ царицу Есѳирь, стоящую на дворѣ, она нашла милость въ очахъ его, и простеръ царь къ Есѳири золотой скипетръ, который былъ въ рукѣ его.
And it was so, when the king saw the queen Esther standing in the court, that she obtained grace in his sight; and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand;

И продолжала Есѳирь говорить предъ царемъ, и пала къ ногамъ его, и плакала, и умоляла его остановить злодѣяніе Амана, Агагитянина, и замыслъ его, который онъ затѣялъ противъ Іудеевъ.
And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews.

И отвѣчала царица Есѳирь, и сказала: если я нашла благоволеніе въ очахъ твоихъ, царь, и если благоугодно царю, то по моему желанію да будетъ дарована мнѣ жизнь моя, и по моей просьбѣ народъ мой.
Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request.

И полюбилъ царь Есѳирь болѣе всѣхъ женъ, и она пріобрѣла предъ нимъ благоволеніе и благорасположеніе къ себѣ болѣе всѣхъ дѣвицъ; и онъ возложилъ на главу ея царскій вѣнецъ, и сдѣлалъ ее царицею на мѣсто Вашти.
And the king loveth Esther above all the women, and she receiveth grace and kindness before him above all the virgins, and he setteth a royal crown on her head, and causeth her to reign instead of Vashti.

Есфирь сказала:" Наш противник и наш враг- злобный Аман".
And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman.

Ибо Есфирь объявила, что он для нее.
For Esther had told what he was to her.

И Есфирь сказала: враг и неприятель- этот злобный Аман!
Esther said,"The enemy is Haman, this wicked man!"!

Есфирь не сказывала ни о своем народе, ни о своем родстве.
Esther had not made known her people nor her birth;

Есфирь все еще не сказывала о родстве своем и о народе своем.
Esther had not yet made known her kindred nor her people;

Гафах вернулся и передал Есфири все, что сказал Мардохей.
And Hathach came and told Esther the words of Mordecai.

Не сказывала Есфирь ни о народе своем, ни о родстве своем.
Esther had not made known her people nor her kindred;

Есфирь была сиротой, но стала царицей.
Esther was an orphan who became queen of a kingdom.
