Three projects, in particular the  Energy Efficiency in Vinnytsia,the  Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre and the IOM project Prevention of Human Trafficking through Community Mobilization(two lasts are located in Kyiv) received the  Gender Award certificates and special prizes.

After reviewing years of evidence andresearch concerning silicone gel filled breast implantation devices, the IoM found that“Evidence suggests diseases or conditions such as connective tissue diseases, cancer, neurological diseases or other systemic complaints or conditions are no more common in women with breast implants than in women without implants.”.
The IOM consisted of a 13-member volunteer committee, including six women.
Mr Larsson stressed that as well as the  work which the IOM and Ukraine are carrying out on helping victims, efforts are also needed to bring criminal charges against the  perpetrators.
In addition, the IOM has worked with the  UN High Commissioner for Refugees(UNHCR) in efforts to improve standards and conditions at detention facilities.
As of 2015, the IOM in Ukraine consists of a head office in Kyiv and field offices in Kharkiv and Kramatorsk.

The IOM Ukraine Counter Trafficking(CT) Programme was launched in 1998, with a strategy to support government and civil society efforts to combat trafficking in human beings and to ensure victims' access to assistance and justice.
At the  same time, the IOM, USDA and the  US Department of Health and Human Services recommend that healthy adults limit their daily sodium intake to less than 2,300 mg(2.3 grams)―the equivalence of one teaspoon of salt.
Within the  framework of the  Observatory Mechanism, the IOM has organised multi-agency detention monitoring visits to places of detention to“conduct joint assessments of migrants' accommodation conditions” with representatives of embassies, international organisations, Ukrainian officials and NGOs.
