For me and my colleagues, it took more than 10 years for the Ukrainian design to be appreciated. During the last few years, the market has made a big step further. Our studios win the prestigious international awards, and influential publishing houses call Ukrainian design the“new black”,-says Sergey Makhno, the founder of the studio.Коли через п'ять тисяч років археологи з інших планет розберуть мій дім, то скажуть, що він був збудований за давніми українськими традиціями. Що тут було багато природи, багато життя»,-каже Сергій Махно.
When in five thousand years, archaeologists from other planets will dismantle my house, they will say that it was built according to ancient Ukrainian traditions. Що довше я маю з нею справу, то ясніше розумію- вона всередині. Коли людина дозволяє заглянути в себе- ми бачимо її сутність. Те, як на межі можливого народжується шедевр»,-ділиться Сергій Махно.
My whole life I have been searching for the beauty. Now I create my own one from all the available things around. The more I work with it, the more clearly I understand- the true beauty is inside.
