Aerodrome operators and associations of aerodrome operators.
This Regulation shall also apply to the competent authorities of the Member States,air navigation service providers, aerodrome operators and ground personnel engaged in aircraft operations.';
The aerodrome operator is responsible for operation of the aerodrome. .
As regards the certification process of aerodrome operators and airports, the procedures of Commission Regulation(EU) No 139/2014 remain in force.
The aerodrome operator shall develop an aerodrome manual and operate in accordance with that manual.
(i) the roles of the aerodrome operator and the holder of the aircraft's certificate of registration;
The aerodrome operator shall ensure that adequate aerodrome rescue and firefighting services are provided.
The aerodrome operator shall establish and implement an appropriate aerodrome wildlife risk management programme;
The aerodrome operator shall implement and maintain training and checking programmes to ensure the continuing competence of this personnel; and.
(f)the aerodrome operator shall establish arrangements with other relevant organisations to ensure continuing compliance with these essential requirements for aerodromes. .
The aerodrome operator shall have, directly or under contracts, all the means necessary to ensure safe operation of aircraft at the aerodrome. .
The aerodrome operator shall verify that the requirements of Section A are complied with at all times or take appropriate measures to mitigate the risks associated with non-compliance.
(i)the aerodrome operator shall establish and implement an aerodrome emergency plan, covering emergency scenarios that may occur at the aerodrome or in its surroundings.
The aerodrome operator shall ensure that any person permitted unescorted access to the movement area or other operational areas is adequately trained and qualified for such access;
The aerodrome operator shall implement and maintain a management system to ensure compliance with these essential requirements for aerodromes and to aim for continuous and proactive improvement of safety.
The aerodrome operator, either by itself or by means of contracts with third parties, shall ensure that procedures exist to provide aircraft with fuel which is uncontaminated and of the correct specification;
(k) the aerodrome operator shall use only trained and qualified personnel for aerodrome operations and maintenance and training and checking programmes to ensure the continuing competence of all relevant personnel.
The aerodrome operator shall ensure that movements of vehicles and persons in the movement area and other operational areas are coordinated with movements of aircraft in order to avoid collisions and damage to aircraft;
The aerodrome operator shall use only trained and qualified personnel for aerodrome operations and maintenance and shall implement and maintain training and check programmes to ensure the continuing competence of all relevant personnel;
Aerodrome operators shall monitor activities and developments which may cause unacceptable safety risks to aviation in the aerodrome surroundings and take, within their competence, mitigating measures as appropriate.
(d)the aerodrome operator shall ensure, directly or through arrangement with third parties, that movements of vehicles and persons in the movement area and other operational areas are coordinated with movements of aircraft in order to avoid collisions and damage to aircraft;
(k)the aerodrome operator shall use only trained and qualified personnel for aerodrome operations and maintenance and shall ensure, directly or through agreements with third parties, the implementation and maintenance of training and checking programmes to ensure the continuing competence of all relevant personnel;
It shall be ensured by the aerodrome operator that, eExcept for aircraft emergency situations, when diverting to an alternate aerodrome, or under other conditions specified in each case, an aerodrome or parts thereof shallmay not be used by aircraft for which the aerodrome design and operating procedures are not normally intended.
It is only if the operator of such an aircraft has chosen to operate a commercial air route arriving at or departing from an aerodrome situated in the territory of a Member State that the operator, because its aircraft is in the territory of that Member State, will be subject to the allowance trading scheme.'.
Extend to the aerodrome of intended landing,also covering the meteorological conditions expected between the aerodrome of intended landing and alternate aerodromes designated by the operator;
All flights performed during the period covered by the report which fall within the aviation activities listed in Annex I for which it is the aircraft operator and which departed from an aerodrome situated in the territory of a Member State and arrived at an aerodrome situated in the territory of the same Member State.
EC Regulations define an operator as“any legal or natural person, operating or proposing to operate one or more aircraft or one or more aerodromes.”.
Operator” shall mean any legal or natural person, operating or proposing to operate one or more aircraft or one or more aerodromes;';
On arrival of a flight at an aerodrome, the completed report of volcanic activity shall be delivered by the aircraft operator or a flight crew member, without delay, to the aerodrome meteorological office, or if such office is not easily accessible to arriving flight crew members, the completed form shall be dealt with in accordance with local arrangements made by the meteorological authority and the aircraft operator. .
It is only if the operators of such aircraft choose to operate commercial air routes arriving at or departing from aerodromes situated in the territory of the Member States that,because their aircraft use such aerodromes, those operators are subject to the allowance trading scheme.
