So We made the earth to swallow him and his dwelling and there was no host to help him, apart from God, and he was helpless;

Когато Аллах Теаля споменава за показването на Карун с неговия разкош пред народа му,Той казва:„И сторихме земята да погълне него и дома му.”.We could, if We so wished,cause the earth to swallow them or let fragments of the sky fall upon them.
Ако Ние пожелаем,ще накараме земята да ги погълне или ще спуснем върху тях отломки от небето.Each We seized for his sin; and of them against some We loosed a squall of pebbles and some were seized by the Cry,and some We made the earth to swallow, and some We drowned; God would never wrong them, but they wronged themselves.
И всекиго сграбчихме заради неговия грях. Срещу някои пратихме ураган, а някои обзе Викът,а някои сторихме земята да ги погълне, а някои удавихме. Не Аллах ги угнетява, а те сами себе си угнетяват.If We should will, We could cause the earth to swallow them or[ could] let fall upon them fragments from the sky.
Ако Ние пожелаем, ще накараме земята да ги погълне или ще спуснем върху тях отломки от небето.Are they who plan ill-deeds then secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that the doom will not come on them whence they know not?
Нима онези, които кроят злините, имат сигурност, че Аллах не ще накара земята да ги погълне или че мъчението не ще дойде при тях, откъдето не им хрумва?Do those who do evil feel secure that Allah will not make the earth to swallow them, or that the punishment will not fall upon them from where they do not know?
Нима онези, които кроят злините, имат сигурност, че Аллах не ще накара земята да ги погълне или че мъчението не ще дойде при тях, откъдето не им хрумва?Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive?
И нима онези, които кроят злините, имат сигурност, че Господ не ще накара земята да ги погълне или че мъчението не ще дойде при тях?Have the plotters of mischief become unafraid that God will not split the earth to swallow them, or that punishment will not fall upon them from somewhere they do not( even) suspect?
Които кроят злините, имат сигурност, че Аллах не ще накара земята да ги погълне или че мъчението не ще дойде при тях, откъдето не им хрумва?
